I got a shot in my wrist a week ago, now all the sudden it looks and feels like I burnt it, and I havent. It's red and tender. Just wondering if it could be the cortizone

don't think so...especially a week ago...would have happened sooner...it sounds like an infection, get it looked at.

This is not an allergic reaction. It sounds very much like an infection. Please have it looked at asap. Infections like this can be very serious, so please don't put it off.

It could also be red and tender from other conditions, like the one that the cortisone was supposed to treat. However, this is less likely. Best of luck.
