Ok, so end of 2005 I contracted sinusitus, didn't complete course of antibiotics so doctor prescribed another dose. Completed course. Then had hayfever - couldn't breathe one bit through my nose as all hayfever sufferers will understand!

Doctor prescribed me Flixonase - some kind of weird nasal spray - and I couldn't even remember what in the world i was complaining about, my nose was fine! No runny noses, no nothing. Except, now I've run out (I went through about one or two bottles, they're not that big) and now, every morning, without fail I get a very, very itchy nose first thing in the morning, sneezing loads and a blocked nose. Then about a half hour after I get up, its fine...but the past week or two i've just had a constant blocked nose, have to blow it all the time...it's horrible! Not a cold.

My hands are really ithcy, along with my scalp and neck. I haven't changed any products that I use. The only thing that I can think of is that I was pulling weeds this weekend. Is it the weeds that are causing me to itch all over ... could a spide bite cause me to itch everywhere? Thanks ... scratchy

Does most insurance companies cover allergy testing? If you don't have insurance and you're diagnosed with an allergy, will that prevent you from getting insurance?

Can you be tested for allergies and sensitivities in the same way?

How much does it cost?

Is it done by bloodwork?

My mom's face and tongue will swell up every once in a while. Sometimes it will be the right side of her mouth or her right eye and sometimes it will be on the left. Her tongue will also swell up. She has been to many doctors and specialists and none of them have any answers. She has been tested for several allergies and they have all came back negative. The only thing they tell her is to take benedryl when it starts to happen. Sometimes it will happen once a week for several weeks or a couple of times a month and then not happen again for months. There is never any rhyme or reason to it. Does anyone else have this problem or maybe have any ideas what it could be? Any information would be appreciated.

I have been using nasal spray for the past 3 months at least once a day, every day. I am not addicted to it or the effects, I just can't stand having a clogged nose. I have made the congestion much worse by over-using the spray and I was wondering if anyone knew how long it would take for my nose to clear up? Today is the first day that I haven't used it and it is almost unbearable. Any alternate remedies? Any suggestions or info would be greatly appreciated.

how do I know how severely he is allergic? Right now he's breastfed and eats baby food fruits and vegetables, so I am cutting peanuts out of my diet (he went to the allergist for rashy skin). Down the line how will we know if he is still allergic to peanuts and if they just trigger his eczema or if he could have a life-threatening reaction?

Hi Just recently I had had very itchy eyes that happens mostly at night but sometimes during the day as well. I have also found that the inside of my mouth gets very itchy, this too is more often at night. And I also find the backs of my hands itch, although nowhere else. I wonder if it is an allergy, although i havnt changed any deodorant/washing power/ make up etc for ages but I also thought it might be hayfever but I was told it was too early????? Does anyone have any ideas?? Especially with the tichy eyes and roof of mouth cos they are driving me crazy!!! thanks

...on my chest, stomach and even my hips and butt and a little on my thighs. The pharmacist where I work said there is a 10 or 30% chance I might be allergic to this because I am allergic to SULFA drugs. Hives have been going on for 3 weeks now...does anyone think I am breaking out from the drug?

HCTZ= Hydrochlorathiazide.
