If allergy related U can try an OTC (over the counter) eye drop for allergy relief, Bausch & Lomb really works. Its a little tingly for about 5 secs, then Ur GOOD 2 GO! If U wake up in the morning and have a discharge or crust in the corner, it is possibly conjuntivitis, which will need an antibiotic from Ur physician.

If you're talking about itchy, watery, puffy eyes from allergies, then it will last as long as you're around whatever you're allergic to. If it's the pollen from trees and plants, then you're stuck with it until the plants you're allergic to stop producing pollen. You could go to your doctor and explain your symptoms and he or she will probably give you prescription eye drops that will help. Don't put the prescription drops in while you're wearing your contacts though, that's what my doctor told me. Wear your contacts only if they're comfortable. If your eyes are bothering you towards the end of the day, take them out. Something that helps is to lay down and put a washcloth soaked in cold water across your eyes. For some reason, this always helps me.

Good luck! I hope your eyes feel better!

ok first things first. Try giving the contacts a rest for a couple of days. You might need a drop such as patanol allergy drops. If you are allergic to some partical in the air, it could stick to your contacts. If it is on your contacts your eyes aren't going to get any better! also clean them really well. Even if you use a "no rub" solution, rub them! Leave them out for a few days and use drops. If it isn't getting better by then, you might want to see your doctor again! Good Luck!

You should go to the doctor. The eye drops will help you to heal faster. I wouldn't wear your contacts since your eye is already sensitive and irrated. Are your contacts disposable? If not, I definetly would not wear them because you could transfer the infection to your lense and then reinfect yourself.
