My hands are really ithcy, along with my scalp and neck. I haven't changed any products that I use. The only thing that I can think of is that I was pulling weeds this weekend. Is it the weeds that are causing me to itch all over ... could a spide bite cause me to itch everywhere? Thanks ... scratchy

Well, for some reason your skin is irritated. It had to be caused by something. Maybe you are allergiac to the weeds, idk. And maybe you touched your scalp and neck after you did that. A spider bite usually only affects the places it bites, so it is probably not a spider. If you didnt change any products (soap, shampoo, etc...) then it probably is the weeds. next time you should probably wear gloves!!!!!! it might have not been the weeds but probably. you should take some itching cream, that will probably help a lot.

Did you wear gloves while pulling weeds? It's possible you may have grabbed poison ivy by accident and smeared the oil over your skin. There are things you can buy from the pharmacy to help the itching stop. If it continues, see a local doctor, especially if your skin becomes red and irritated, or blistery.

With a spider bite, you'd be able to tell.
It could partly be the weeds and/or something that was in them that irratated them. Chemicals, natural things, etc.
It could be the weather change, depending on where you live which is normal.
Or it could be just dry skin. Cure=Lotion. Obvisouly. I like Curel, Shae Butter, Cocoa butter, Suave, Lubriderm.

If it dosen't stop within a few weeks, contact a local doctor.
:)

Yes it could definitely be the weeds... or something that you've eaten... or a spider bite... It does sound like an allergy, but an allergy to what is going to be tough to figure out unless it is a recurring problem.

being as it the time of year when the pollen falls,it's most likely allergies.Last year around this time my allergies were REALLY bad(like they are every year),I got hives all over my stomach,on my neck,my legs, and my wrist and back.IT itched somethin' awful and then if I scratch it it would burn like hell fire!!If you get like red "splotches" on your body take Tylenol w/ Codeine.(if your not allergic to that)The doc. gave this to me!

Hope ya feel better!GL!

It could have been the weeds. You should by a anti itch cream and put lotion. And NEVER EVER GET CLOSE TO THOSE WEEDS AGAIN................... Call a gardener to do it.

Yeah the weeds caused your hands to get itchy because they were covered with poison ivy or poison sumac. Your neck and scalp got itchy because you touched them after pulling the weeds.

It is probably an allergic reaction to the weeds.

You could have poison ivy or poison oak. Take an antihistamine, it will help ;)
