You probably have Rhinitis. There are sprays for that in the store to keep your nostrils moist if they are dry.

Also, if you have allergies (seasonal, environmental, etc.) you'll forever have an itchy nose. What you have to do is to learn to control your allergies by avoiding the allergens (ie if it's dust keep your bedroom totally dust-free--no carpets rugs, stuffed animals, etc., stuff that traps dust) and cover your mattress/pillow with appropriate hypoallergenic covers.

If it's seasonal, ie tree pollen in Spring, grass in Summer, or ragweed in Fall, then you just have to avoid that as much as possible. It's worst in the morning and evening, so try not to go jogging through a park at the crack of dawn type of thing, or you can take Claritan or other anti-histamines (your body overproduces histamines when you have allergies--it thinks it's under attack by these harmless invaders, your immune system over-produces histamines as a result.)

So those are some things you can do. Try the Rhinitis spray though, use it at night. You can also ask your doctor if they will prescribe Nasacort which has cortisone in it if you are always stuffed up too. Caution in overusing that though...use only when you're really in unbearable shape as it's not meant for every day.

They say an itching nose is a sign that someone is going to give you money. Find that one and get it over with!

On a more serious note, it sounds like an allergy. Antihistamines may provide you relief. Finding the cause would be a better solution.
