When you spay it into your nostrils you need to inhale as you spray so it goes deep into your sinuses. Once you sneeze just blot your nose and don't blow for about a minute.

When spraying Nasonex into the nostrils, you should inhale
deeply and quickly so the medicine gets into the sinuses.
Sneezing generally indicates some Nasonex is dripping out.
Don't Blow!! Instead, gently dab or blot the excess. Later,
if you still feel the need to blow, do so very, very gently. And,
by "later", I mean two or three minutes.

My daughter has bad allergies and gets sinus infections. Her doctor told her to inhale through nose when spraying it in her nostrils, then wait for about a four or five minutes before blowing, but do not blow your nose hard and if she has to clean up, then just blot around the area some.

Well, that depends on how long the medicine is actually in there. You have used Nasonex a few times I can assume, so you would know best if the effects that the medicine should be having on you are actually happening to you. Does it cure what you use it for? If not, I would suggest trying something different for the symptom that you are experiencing. Good luck! :)

Do not blow your nose until the medicine has time to work. I suggest hardly inhaling the spray through your nose per spray. Sneezing causes the medicine to come back out.

If you can't wait 5 or 10 minutes to blow your nose, you need a prescription for something else.
