red ant hill?

My grandma is like 73 and steped in a red ant hill and my mom is scared she can die from it somehow.. like an alergic reaction or something, is that true?

If they are fireants, they have bad bites.
Get some aloe vera gel to put on bites or use the plant.
Take benedryl for the itchin and swelling and maybe
ice packs
She should be okay. Older folks in their 90's live thru it.
