That they could then drive around for an hour to an hour and a half before things start to take affect? A friend is telling me they tried to commit suicide, but this friend has been known to make up stories in the past. Should I be worried?

She did say she started having trouble breathing before she pulled over, and when she pulled over, she had a seizure (she's had them before) and was rushed to the hospital and had her stomach pumped, then remained in the hospital for 5 days.

It doesn't sound like a typical story for allergy to aspirin. Allergies can take hours to days before they manifest, but so too can drug effects.

If her allergy is something along the lines of difficulty breathing, I would have expected it to manifest earlier and require hospital management.

Perhaps this is a story she's made up. It's a little difficult to tell.

If her allergy just causes a rash, well, who knows?

A whole bottle of aspirin, though. It could make you sick.

Doesn't sound like good friendship material to me. She needs a doctor.

My mom's allergic to aspirin. Her throat swells shut when she has just 2 pills.
