My 2 year old niece has milk allergies. Not lactose intolerance, but milk allergies. She is flat out allergic to ANY dairy. Also she is allergic to Wheat & cannot have anything containing glucose in it either. Does anybody have any recipes for Soy bread or rice or potato bread that doesn't also call for regular flour? Not nessecary, but an ebook I can email to my sister in law would be easier. She hardly has anything she can feed the poor kid and as of right now until we can find a recipe the poor kid can't eat pasta or breads. Please help!

my son has allergies to milk, eggs, and nuts so i know how you feel . There are some great products on the market that have helped out a lot. Is she allergic to wheat or gluten ,there are a lot of gluten free products available and you can substitute soy milk in most cases. A good food guide is FRIENDLY FOOD Murdoch books . Milk and wheat allergies (gluten, not glucose) are very common. Unfortunately, a 2 year old is growing; not just her height, but her brain, organs, personality, and intelligence. It is very important that she gets the nutrients she needs.

As such, avoid common herbal (etc) "cures." Most herbs have medicinal properties. We don't like to give lots of medicines to two year olds, especially "medicines" (herbs) that have not been tested on kids.

Your sister in law needs to ask the child's doctor to set her up with a dietician. The dietician in my office and hospital has awesome recipes and tips for making sure that these poor kids get the nutrients they need. One or two visits will likely be very rewarding, both for mom and the kid. Best of luck.
