This cough is strange. IT IS NOT A SIMPLE TAKE COUGH MEDICINE. DOCTORS ACT BAFFLED. I wonder why they did not refer me to a specialist. it is like something the government is hiding. i have not seen a specialist and i feel that i should have been refered to a specialist for this. i am a veteran with health benefits.
it is not a simple thing that people think it is like something new is in the atmosphere.
I have one too. its not what people think. its a different cough that is different than any other one i ever had in my life. my throat tickles and itches, i cough uncontrollably with some phlegm and it is embarrassing in public, in meetings, in the restaurant. i am a veteran and went to the va and they call it an allergy. the medication , teas, pepper whatever does not work. WHAT KIND? It is driving me and everyone else CRAZY. i AM NOW getting very exhausted from this and drained. DO I HAVE SOMETHING ?

I have really bad allergies !!! Lately, they are getting worse I'm starting to get mild ashma attacks. I've tried many products, meds, saline rinse and even 2 air cleaners. I will be honest I havent been able to breath out of both side of my nose for at least a year. I read about the peroxide water rinse on the internet and wanted to know it works.

I lived in connecticut all my life, My daughter who is almost 3 has also lived there all her life. Since moving out here both of us have been "sick", coughing, nasal dripping(sorry about being gross). It seems like allergies but neither of us have allergies. Could it be the move? Could we have developed allergies? When I took us to the doctors they said it will pass and not to worry about it.

I can't figure it out, but I get violently ill when I eat real, authentic Mexican food. I can eat almost any generic Mexican food, ie. Taco Bell, Chipotle, and others, but if I go to an authentic Mexican restaurant I will be sick in less than an hour. I can't figure out what it is that I'm allergic to. Any ideas what ingredient might trigger such a strong reaction?

I have never had allergic reactions to anything before. I am in my mid 30s and have been getting breakouts on my face and pretty much all over, especially my arms. They come and go and itch just slightly, but not too bad. The ones on my face and even around my hairline and neck stay a little longer. I want to start process of elimination for allergies first, because I do not have any medical insurance right now to afford a bunch of testing. My question is, can laundry det. make you even break out on your face? I have been using the same kind for a little over a year now and that is about when this all started. I never even thought of that, because I have never been allergic to anything before.

Does anyone have any reliable evidence that orange juice is mucus-producing?
My understanding is that orange juice is the best way to stave-off colds, flu, mouth ulcers, and promote general healing. But someone who limits it for themselves and their children, recently told me it's because they believe it is mucus-producing, i.e. like lactose.

I can't hear out of my left ear. When I lay down, it's worse, then when I stand up I can kind of hear but today I just can barely hear through that ear at all. I think it is sinus blockage. How do I get rid of that?

I'm not sure if there was dark blue dyes in the disposable glove I was wearing during lab. My hand immediately turned red and itchy. My friend intially had the glove, but gave it to me after she realized she got the wrong size. Does anyone know if there are any dark blue dyes in gloves? I had a patch ttest a week ago, and my doctor told me that I'm allergic to dark blue dyes and some kind of fragrance..

I just figured out I'm allergic to something and when I started coughing and having difficulty breathing and noticing a few hives, I immediately took 25mg of benedryl(about 10minutes ago)... Is there anything else I should/can do? Take another 25mg of benedryl? I've known that I'm allergic to shellfish for years, but never had a reaction like this before.

I recently suffered a severe reaction to Penicillin at the age of 42, having taken it previously in my life with no problem. Has anyone else suffered this and did they find they were more allergic generally to stuff afterwards? I ended up in hospital and it was very scary. Am recovering now and feeling tired, but on the mend. Is this how you felt too?
