Yes, it probably is. With antibiotics it will go in about 7 days, if you leave it it will take a week!

You need a professional (doctor) to check this out for you if it becomes permanent or recurrent. Also you should see your dentist. The roots of upper back teeth often lie with the tips of the roots poking up into the sinus. A bad upper tooth can often be the cause of sinusitis that a doctor will fail to spot.

Conversely quite a few cases of upper tooth pain will be due to sinusitis but your dentist will be switched on to this.

Happy sneezing.

Sinusitis can be diagnosed by a doctor, and they can give you antibiotics, because it is an infection of your sinuses. You have to get to a doctor right away for that. For follow-up, I suggest purchasing a neti pot and using that to clean your sinuses daily. It is a small pot used to irrigate all the bad stuff out of your sinus cavity with water and a bit of a saline solution. It's natural, organic and preventative, and yet, something that you would not want to do in front of other people cause it's kinda gross, but it's for your health. Hope this helps! (you can find neti pots at amazon.com)

The paranasal sinuses are the air-filled spaces in the bones of the skull that open into the nose. One pair lies in the cheeks and another in the forehead.

There are also a variable number of sinuses between the eyes and the nose. Sinusitis is the infection of these spaces.

Sinusitis may be a short illness (acute sinusitis) or a condition that continues for months or years (chronic sinusitis). Chronic sinusitis is relatively uncommon nowadays

Yes - I had this about a month ago - exactly the same, very slight puffiness on one cheek which felt a bit tingly (very slightly) also, ache behind eye and headache on that side - a couple of sharp pains in that temple too. I thought you had to have a runny nose to get sinutitis but apparently not!. It will go soon.

I just had this this week. I took Sudafed, used a Vick's warm air vaporizer. I did go in for antibiotic, but the doctor also said to use Sudafed and that's what helped it the most...if it saves you a doctor visit. (I'm not a doctor, just my experience this week). It was gone before the antibiotic even had a chance to kick in...relieved by the Sudafed, vaporizor and bed rest.

unlikely to be strangles because it disappeared. I certainly have seen it extremely some circumstances over the final 30 years and that's often a minor reaction to 3 form of poisonous plant. certainly the ingestion of acorns reason this style of swelling and small quantities of different poisonous vegetation can to boot. What you're able to desire to word of nevertheless is that as quickly as horses eat small quantities of poisonous vegetation, you could in basic terms get those small reactions and a few horses can advance a style for what it incredibly is they'd desire to no longer be eating...fantastically with acorns. To the priority-loose person, the pony looks wonderful and no harm is being carried out, yet incredibly, the long term ingestion would reason extreme themes for some inner organs. Acorns are poisonous as are many different vegetation in various stages. My ultimate little bit of advice for you would be to acquire a toxic plant (to horses) chart, with photos and take it out into your field. bypass verify each little thing on your horses paddock against the chart and something that fits should be got rid of. Ragwort is in all risk the main ordinarily cutting-edge in paddocks and that i single this out because of the fact in case you have that for the time of your paddock, you could no longer only tug at it or chop it down. you're able to desire to get each final plant out, such because of the fact the roots and take the pulled up vegetation someplace to burn them! good success, do no longer problem too lots as from what you describe it became in basic terms a sprint reaction, yet you're able to desire to get out and punctiliously verify your paddocks. If it happens returned and you comprehend that there are no longer any poisonous vegetation close by, call your vet!

With those symptoms, it sounds like you have a bad sinus infection. Are you blowing out yellowish-green mucus? (I know...gross, but true).

You need to see your doctor. You probably need an antibiotic.
