I'm not sure if there was dark blue dyes in the disposable glove I was wearing during lab. My hand immediately turned red and itchy. My friend intially had the glove, but gave it to me after she realized she got the wrong size. Does anyone know if there are any dark blue dyes in gloves? I had a patch ttest a week ago, and my doctor told me that I'm allergic to dark blue dyes and some kind of fragrance..

that may be a latex allergy-from the glove and not the dye in the glove.

I would call your allergest and ask for more info on your allergy. It doesn't sound like a latex allergy. Most health care facilities and schools are using nitrile gloves now and I am betting that you were tested for latex on your patches. Your allergist will have more references for you.
