Allergies

I have this severe itch that has lasted a few months off and on which starts at the top of my head and goes to my feet. I see no rash except I do see some little red dots or little red bumps in the palms of my hands.Sometimes I feel as though something is crawling on me or sometimes I feel as though I cannot keep my arms and legs still. I cannot sleep because of this. It is worse at night but I do occassionally have it during the day (like right now). it's the kind of itch that you scratch but cannot ever relieve. I have tried everything.....creams, moisterizers...bath and body stuff....sometimes it helps and sometimes it makes it worse. I also itch up my butt and up my front ears..everywere. The itching feels like a prickley itch and feels like i have a very mild sunburn. I just don't know what to do about this or even what this is. I just know that I need to get some sleep! Please help me.it gets so much worse after drinking alcohol,i have had liver tested & it's fine! help please!!!

My son has eczema. And the allergist recommended a skin test. But I heard from the pediatrician that it is not worth it since their immune systems are not fully developed yet. Their allergies are not stable at this time.

When I was 3 yrs old, my doctor said that I was allergic to cigarette smoke. Will I ALWAYS be allergic to cigarettes??? I mean I am around people that smoke all of the time and it never bothers me. I dont ever remember it bothering me either. Would it be a bad idea to try it out and see what happens?

I have a new home with a partially finished basement. I have been sick since I moved in. I am on allergy medicine and 4 injections a week. Has any one else experienced this problem and how did they resolve it. I do have a de humidifier. helps some but not enough. I do not go to the basement.

I have allergy in my body(itchings and rashes throughout the body) for past one and a half years. Since I am allergic to allopathy medicines I took Homeopathy medicine. But I was not cured. So I took allopathic medicines. But I felt very sleepy and became very weak (nervous weakness).Later I shifted to Siddha medicines and took for two months. But no cure. Once again I changed to frequency xeroid quantum medicine(American treatment). Since there was no improvement the same doctor advised me to take allopathy tablets (Alday tablets) along with previous medicines. But now I feel numb in my left hand finger tips. When I take tablet I do not have itchings and rashes. Once I stop the tablet I get back again. Kindly give me a remedy.

I never have trouble breathing or anything but my lips sort of get outlined in maybe 1/8" of puffiness for an hour or so. Is this OK?

I'm taking a pottery class and ever since I started, I've been getting these tiny rashes on my hands. They start out as bumps and never get any bigger than a nail head, but they itch like crap and hurt after a couple days. I'm not sure but I think it's the clay. I haven't eaten anything new or started using anything on my hands that I havent used before.

my daughter has been suffering from headaches for the past year, more increasingly the last few months, she has been given meds for allergies, which made it worse, her glasses have been strenghtened but nothing is helping, The pediatrician ordered a CT of the brain, and the result was a small cyst on the brain which she thought it was nothing to worry about. I am taking her to a neurologist , but still don't think cysts are normal, what if it bursts.

Whenever I lay down or sleep & even during the day I get stuffy nose and one of my nostrils closes up so tight that I can't breath except for through one nostril. After about 2 to 3 hours one of my nostrils opens up but then as soon as that one opens up the other one closes up instanly for about 2 or 3 hours and I hate it!!! I don't know what causes it & I have had this problem all my life & it makes me so irritated & uncomfortable that I have tried everything such as putting vicks vaporup in my nose, sticking a straw up my nose, Claritin &those breathe-right straps that you put on top of your nose. THOSE BREATHE-RIGHT STRAPS NEVER WORK & THEY ARE A WASTE OF MONEY!!!! PLEASE IF YOU HAVE ANY ADVICE OR IF YOU HAVE TIS PROBLEM HOW DO I STOP IT OR CURE IT!!!!!!

We live in a house where there was a water leak and mold growing. I am very allergic to mold. we are moving in 9 days but as the days go by I am getting sicker and sicker. We need to finish packing... If I wear a regular surgical type mask, will it keep the spores out so I dont get sicker?

MY SKIN IS REALLY BUGGING ME. i'VE BEEN SCRATCHING MYSELF FOR TWO DAYS EVERSINCE I GOT DRUNK FOR THE FIRST TIME. IT TURNS OUT I'M ALLERGIC TO THE ALCOHOL... IT'S REALLY ******* ITCHY.. I recently moved into a dorm and the first thing i noticed was it smelled musty. It's virtually on basement level, faces north, and the grass is always damp. I wake up after a couple hours with a stuffy nose, red eyes, and aches. Also, could an ionic breeze filter out mold? Any suggestions on how to deal with problem would be great help.

them wanting to know if the dosage had an affect on my eyes too much pressure. i was put on alphagan and then later lumigan, oh let me back up all cause i do also have myasthenia gravis. now when i was first dx i didnt have much ptosis, double vision or eye issues, well know 14yrs later i have watery eyes always, and vision is slight dimenished or shall i say far away is blurry. my vision was 20/40 i had stopped taking the drops last yr cause the dr. said the pressure went down. yes i know i need to see one again but could the watery eyes be due to allergies? i am also on p/ephed pills for sinus and allergies the only thing is annoying that my eyes are extremely sensitive to the sun. again could this be allergies, or coritcosteroid pressure in my eyes?

Okay I have extremely BAD allergies right now! What have any of you tried and actually helped, without the side effects of drowsyness, regarding to allergy medicine you can buy over the counter for allergies. this happend to me 2 weeks ago, i fiished work and went to a friends party with my bf.I had a bacardi and coke i dont drink very often and drinking doesnt really suit me as my arms and legs start to ache and i go all red,anyway iwas sipping it quite fast and started to feel a bit tipsy but suddenly i couldnt feel my legs much and started to shake and my mouth too so i locked myself in the loo with my bf and drank as much water as i could but the shaking wouldnt stop and i started to cry and couldnt think clearly he took me home and it slowely went but was still shaky the next day...what happend to me? i was so scared...no one spiked my drink were all best friends. I hadnt taken any pills only my contraceptive pill and in the mornin i take vitamins could this have been an allergic reaction?or a panick attack?
