He gets swollen lumps about the size of a golf ball sometimes. what type of allergy do you think this could be? They are random and sometimes 1 or two a day and then they fade away. Usually on the back of his legs and on his forearms. He is 13 years old. I took him to the emerg room last month was told to use Benydryll. But that only helps temporarily. We dont have med coverage right now so it gets pretty expensive to go to the hosp every time they occur, please help. Any advise or opinion will help.

Another cat adopted me and ever since she has been in the house I have had itchy skin!! My skin breaks out in these little tiny bumps that look like tiny mosquito bites concentrated in one area, about 4 or 5 inches in diameter. Could it be my cat, or a spider, or seasonal allergies, which I already have. I just didnt think my skin would break out!!

Just as I said, I am 37 years old and allergic to mild (not lactose intollerant, allergic to milk). I have been allergic since birth. I am now learning that I have arthritis. Is it too early to ask my doctor for a bone density test? what should i do?

Whilst out in my garden last night I have been bitten on my left kneecap. It started as just a itchy lump which has progressed into a massive hard hot red lump that is making it painful for me to use the knee. Its also very very hot. I have used antihistamine and a bite cream but neither are working very well. I am generally quite prone to allergies just one of those unlucky people. Do I need to see the doctor or is this ok for it to be so swollen and sore? Thanks very much for reading this and hopefully helping out.

Well it all started yesterday morning when I got up and looked in the bathroom mirror and saw my left eyelid wad swollen but only a tad. then I had noticed a rash on my neck. Then more into the day the swelling in my eyelid went down and the rash got way better and didnt itch anymore. But I had this one day retreat hosted by Courtney Bullard (the founder of idminisdtries , you can visit the foundations site , at www.idministries.com),April Clay(of www.aprilclay.com), and lots more. well I dont remember getting into anything that night , but I did go to bed at Approx. 12:30 and got up at 4:30 for a while and nothing was wrong. Then I woke up at 7 and my eye was rwally swollen and the rash had gotten on my face. Now it;s really strange because its only on my face and neck and it really itches , but it wont go on my arms or legs , so its definately not Poison ivy or contagious to anyone. Also , one more thing , it seems every time I sleep my eye gets bigger! Please help!

About four months ago I noticed a tiny little bubble on my top lip. I gently scratched it and went about my day. By that night my whole top lip was covered in tiny bubbles that just kind of oozed and made my lip look slightly swollen. I had poison ivy about a week before and was told that once it gets into your blood stream in can show up again on irritated skin. I assumed that this is what it was.

About two weeks ago I felt it come back on the top corner of my mouth. It only lasted a day. Yesterday it came back full force. I thought this was a little strange for poison ivy to last so long so as I was thinking I realized that the last two times it happened and possibly the first, I had eaten cantaloupe. This most recent time, I took about two bites because it tasted funny and I threw it away.

I have always known that I have a slight allergy to cantaloupe because it will make the back of my mouth itch at times. But can it make your lips swell with tiny, oozing bubbles?

My symptoms started out as sinus pain/congestion, itchy throat, itchy inner ears, slightly itchy eyes, clear runny nose, sneezing, post-nasal drip which caused a scratchy throat and dry cough. My symptoms have now developed into a very runny nose with more color (yellowish green), and a more productive cough (I can feel the chest congestion). I'm still experiencing the itchiness in my throat and ears (just not as strongly). In the beginning it seemed like an allergy, but now it seems like a cold.

my daughter has a mild case of eczema. It really seems to only flare up if I change laundry detergent, body soap, and if she consumes oranges, OJ and citric acidic fruits. I know about the topical products that aide in small relief.( hydrocortisone, oatmeal baths,)_ I just wanted to know because she is only 5 and she doesn't understan don't scratch concept. Scracthing feels good to her. What do you think I should do to relive her itching
