This is definitely a question for a doctor. Facial swelling is often a sign of an endocrine problem (glands). It could possibly be a reaction to food, an allergy or something like Celiac Disease (gluten intolerance) - any other symptoms? tummy troubles, tingling hands, skin problems, family history of digestive problems or diabetes? There are a lot of possibilities that your GP should run some blood tests for. Of course, consider any changes you've made recently to your bedding or laundry chemicals also.

I doubt it, if you're not eating the same thing every evening. Besides, if it was food you probably wouldn't be getting a full night's sleep.

You're more likely to be allergic to your laundry detergent, or to some form of mold or dust that has collected in your pillow. Try using an allergen-free detergent, and getting a hypo-allergenic pillow with a couple of covers you can wash.

Good luck!

i doubt it's an allergy. if it's swollen like .. alot i would be concerned. try sleeping on your back, cause you might be sleeping with your face in the pillow and that isn't good. also by sleeping on your back you'll get less winkles.

It might...I usually get that when I have consumed too much salt the day before.
Maybe you should reduce the amount of salt you use on your food.
