the home is less than a year old. But my family and I have been getting ill frequently. ear infections, upper respitory infections, skin rashes.

There's a couple of things you can do. First, you can request your local water department to test your tap water if you have city water. I'm not sure about testing well water or air quality.
As far as eliminating pollutants, the best systems (for both air and water) are from Ecoquest. They are expensive, but very efficient. In the end, the cost of the equipment will outweigh the cost and aggravation of being sick all the time. They also have payment plans that might help. Here's the product line website:

if you have a water purifier like aquaguard or something like then call the support guy. they will test the quality of water and give you the report as well as what to do what not to do. and talking about the air, maintain the house in such a way that air can flows through your house. that way the new air which will be coming to your house will purify the air

Perhaps contacting your local county extension service could lead to some resources. I wonder if the Environmental Protection Agency has any info. on their website.

It sounds like mold to me too. But I think Jom is right: The local extension agency is your best bet.

Sounds like MOLD allergies.If it is move your health will only get worse.
