My partner has an allegery to both wheat and yeast. We would like to know if there is a form of alcohol out there that she could drink without adverse affect.

Spirits may not contain wheat as they are distilled and not fermented yet they must still require yeast. We have heard that yeast is killed off in alcohol greater than 15%, if this is true is there evidence available?

I was recently diagnosed with something called Cold Urticaria. Apparently its my body releasing histamine when the temperature is too low...therefore I'm allergic to the cold :(
I live in Canada and winters up here suck...so whenever it gets too cold, any exposed skin breaks out in hives and welts, and it swells....like MASSIVELY! Its quite disgusting! lol
But anyways....I was just wondering if anyone else has this and how they treat it.....I take reactine but its doesnt do much, and this will be my first full winter with this wonderful allergy!

ANY HELP......ANY!!!!!

Since early summer my daughter has been getting hives. We thought it was a bug bite, then fabric softener, now the other day the Pediatrician put her on Prednisone, Benadryl and did blood work which will narrow things down. Just wondering if other people have had this problem and what caused theirs?

I was given a sulfa medication and it listed this as a rare side affect. Then i started getting a rash and i stopped it...then i did research and found that it can get was as the days go on, and that it is like a second degree burn. I found that alot of reactions to alot of meds are actually causing this reaction in many people, and that alot of doctors are completely unaware of it. I'm just a little worried.

I don't mean like allergies, where your nasal passages get all stuffy, eyes water, the likes.

I knew a girl who claimed she was so allergic to peanuts, the very smell would cause her to have such a foul reaction, that she could die from it if she didn't use her e-pen.

They do not have to tell you.It make take five years for a reaction. You may not get a reaction. It is in your body forever.what we worry about is the young woman having them put on thier lower backs. will it make three armed babies?
