Mix 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar with 1/4 cup of water and pour into spray bottle, spray onto hair/scalp (avoid eyes!), wrap with towel, leave on for 15 minutes, then wash with shampoo. Do this twice a week and you will have flake free hair.

Sometimes you may think that it is dandruff, however if it is reaccuring and seems to be spreading it could be fugil. In that case try using a cream for athletes foot/jock itch. this works well. Just work it into yor hair and put your hair up (if your a girl) leave it in for a while (you may want to do this if you will be at home for a while) and them have ashower to rinse it clean. This will stop it from spreading and will cure the fungis....hope this helps. If you don't want to use the cream product try using the athletes foot spray (in an aerisole can) that works well too.

Try an application of Tea Tree oil. Keep in hair over night. Wash out. Do NOT use a conditioner on the scalp (promotes growth of organisms). Dry hair WELL.
- I hope this helps.

Hopefully you are a guy, because then I have the answer. When my hair grows too long, I notice that I am more prone to dandruff. When I have my hair cut really short and buzzed, never a problem. I believe it is because when your hair is short you can get to your scalp more easily to wash it.

Dandruff is a sign that your scalp is dry so you must moisten it up again. Good Luck!! Wear a hat if that doesn't work.
