My throat kinda burns aftre I've aten a lot...but not severley. I've been eating chocolate all my life.

this would sound more like reflux than allergies, try prilosec otc daily for a week good luck

I don't think it's an allergy, but you should cut back on how much you eat. If the burning is severe, then yes you should see a doctor.

hi there, i have the same symptoms, i have now been told that i have severe G O R D in otherwords too much acid in my stomache, my advice would be to go to your doctors, i take 40mg nexium ever day and that stops the burning sensation...good luck

Maybe something's wrong with your throat...
go to the doctor. they can do tests to see if you are allergic or not. if your throat swells or you get welps inside your throat when you eat chocolate you might be.

I'd say probably not allergic to it. Perhaps the chocolate is making you produce more acid which is rising into your throat.
I know chocolate did that to me when I was pregnant.

I dont think your allergic maybe your addicted try to eat a liitle bit lesser and one more thing choco had many diff. kind the dark choco really itch the throat..

you should check with your doctor. there are a variety of things that can cause a burning sensation in the throat.

are u in ur senses......why do u eat so much chocolate..it s not good for health...now it has only produced burning in throat..afterwards it will produce more symptoms....u may have hoarse voice which will remain hoarse...
