I'm taking a pottery class and ever since I started, I've been getting these tiny rashes on my hands. They start out as bumps and never get any bigger than a nail head, but they itch like crap and hurt after a couple days. I'm not sure but I think it's the clay. I haven't eaten anything new or started using anything on my hands that I havent used before.

I think that you could be allergic to anything. Even though the clay has been processed, it still could contain some form of chemical or irritant that your skin is sensitive to. It could even be the clay. Try staying away from the clay for a couple of days to see if thats the problem. Go check up with your doctor if it persists. Good Luck.
