My partner wakes up every morning with a really runny nose that is like he has a terrible cold? We think that he has allergies of some sort but after many visits to the doctors he has given up on asking to be sent for an allergy test, does anyone have any advice on what may be causing his runny nose and cold like symptoms or where he could go for an allergy test as it is beginning to drive me crazy?HELP

Hi,

For the past couple of months I have been trying to figure out why I have been getting so many sore throats. It seems like my throat puffs up and it is very painful. It goes away in 2-8 hours. I have been trying to keep track of what I eat. The other day I had a turkey sandwich. My throat started to get really painful so I knew it was the bread or turkey. Then today I just ate the bread and it did the same thing so I now know it is something in the bread. It is called "Potato Bread". Anyone have any idea what I could be allergic to in this bread? Is there a common allergy?

Thanks,
Kimberley

I am not asthmatic. Sometimes, when I hang around long-haired cats or dogs for a while, I begin to experience these symptoms along with coughing, sneezing, and shortness of breath.

Can someone help? I went out to town and sat down for a couple of hours in a food court, after a while, my arms started to feel itchy, I think something bit me but didn't take much notice.
When I got home, there are mosquito bite-like rashes over my arms, back of knees/legs, my backside and I'm starting to get them at the back of my neck too now!!
They don't hurt at all (except in I start scratching it hard), just really itchy.

What happened? And how do I get rid of this rash?

This is the second time that I have experienced a terrible stomache after having gotten the flu shot. Is it possibly associated? Otherwise, I never get stomache aches. I also have a headache and I am extremely fatigued.

My son is allergic to milk and soy products. He also cannot tolerate rice milk. Does anyone have any good recipies for snacks, cookies, cakes, muffins that he can eat? (I often use formula in recipies in place of milk)

I've been struggling with a medical problem since December 2004, shortly after I had food poisoning from undercooked chicken, but most doctors I've seen said these are allergies with an unknown cause. Symptoms are constant eye redness, dark bluish circles under eyes, some energy loss, pain in the back of my neck and head, and constant ear popping and pain (my ears rarely stop popping, and this has been going on for months!). I've seen mostly eye, ENT and allergy doctors and I've taken a number of anti-allergy things, but the only things which have been effective in improvement have been Augmentin (875MG) and TobraDex. I've moved to a different apartment, changed clothes and furniture, changed shampoo and soaps... everything I can think of. What's the next step for me?

I finally found an antihistamine/decongestant that works for me and its over the counter. It's wal-mart's generic for children. I'm an adult but out of desperation I tried my kids med. and it works. Since I have congestion year round is it safe to continually take it on a daily basis?

i've been having this bad taste in my mouth for over a week ever since cleaning up, there was heavy dust in the area, and it upset my allergies making me sneeze and cough. i'm assuming some dust got in my throat and i have to keep spitting . i always brush my teeth day and night, floss use mouth wash( i don't think i have a tooth infection). i gargled w/ salt water twice this week. do you think if i keep on gargling w/ salt water this bad taste will go away? or is there something else i should try?

I've only met one other person that has this problem, and another whose daughter has it. Who else hates to touch that cotton? It gives me the shivers just thinking about it.

My daughter is allergic to the whole egg so I can't use Egg Beaters or anything that contains parts of the egg. My problem with baking cakes is that it doesn't rise well just adding extra water, flour and baking soda. I got that substitute out of a cookbook. I know you can also use applesauce but she is allergic to apples to. Any suggestions?

I'm 20 years old and have never had any known allergies. Last night I got a rash on my face after exercising/eating. This afternoon I just got the same rash. It starts at my jawline then moves up to my eyebrows...it's red, hot, itchy, and blotchy...it's like misquito bites.
