My son is allergic to milk and soy products. He also cannot tolerate rice milk. Does anyone have any good recipies for snacks, cookies, cakes, muffins that he can eat? (I often use formula in recipies in place of milk)

Try Lactaid instead of Soy milk. Lactaid is lactose free and it tastes more like cow's milk than soy does. My 2 year old daughter is allergic to milk and it took a little while to find something she would drink that I didn't have to add chocolate to. I've also tried all of the lactose free products out there and Lactaid tastes the best.

You should ask your pediatrician about it. This is extremely important for your child to have enough fluids to prevent dehydration. If he can drink infant formula then I would definiely continue it since there are no other options. I give my daughter cheerios, gerber fruit puffs, bite size crackers, but cookies, cakes, and muffins are really too high in sugar and it's better to give them dry cereal for snacks and not too much at a time as it can be fatty.

When i was real young i drank alot of apple juice. I had milk allergys too and peanut. I would say substitute milk with water its the best thing. Ohh and you have to have to tell your child never to eat drink or go close to milk products. Teach him not too. When i was 4 my neighbor unknowingly gave me ice cream but i refused and told her i was allergic!
