A couple months ago, I developed ringworm on my leg that starting becoming surrounded with decent-sized blisters (not boils). At first, my doctor believed it was MRSA that was contracted through the ringworm. But when tests came back, another doctor told me that I was negative for MRSA and that it was just a staph infection.

She perscribed me to meds that cured both the ringworm and the blisters, although the area in which the blister/ringworm was looks as if it were bruised (barely visible today)

But a couple days ago, I noticed a single blister near my armpit no more than a quarter of an inch wide. At first, it hurt much as the staph blisters on my leg did has since developed a scab and doesn't hurt much at all.

Here are my concerns:

Could this be MRSA? Even though my doctor told me it wasn't, a recent MRSA cover-up I heard about has me worried as well as many surrounding schools infected with it.

What are the symptoms of MRSA and how deadly is it?

I've been ill for two days and now I have a tingly feeling above my lips. Its slightly red and not really that visible yet. I've had it before when I was younger, but I wasnt sure whether it was a cold sore or not because it formed all the way around my mouth. When I was younger it was exactly like it is now but it got worse because it then turned into this ring of dry, tingly scabby-looking thing around my mouth. So does anyone know what I have? And will it go away soon? What should I do to treat it?

I think they are either hives or a heat rash. Not very severe and I have no idea what the cause was. Possibly cold weather.

I have 6 blotches on my chin (about 4mm diameter). That's it. So it's not bad enough to take medication for. Just wondering how long will it last, approximately, if I just leave them?

I've had them for 2 days now.

They also 'disappear' when I am asleep (I wake up with a clear face) and then reappear in the next hour or so, only to last all day.

Looking at the other questions on stretchmarks, a lot of them include the word pregnancy in their answers... So for a slight alternative; What if they were not from pregnancy?
Stretchmarks are a problem for me and I will not get in a relationship due to their extensiveness... If you were faced with a woman who had stretchmarks over most of her lower body (bottom, thighs, etc) would you still feel the same?? (That is in referance to those who said that stretchmarks are a form of beauty as they show a woman has gone through pregnancy).
Am I right to hide my body? Would it put you off?

I mean... just THINK about it. All the person needs to do is get a life and eat normally, while giving no thought to it. And do lots of other things in life that are fun, so as to keep their minds off of it. Right?

I eat very little refined sugars--mostly just honey. I eat veggies, rice, meat--all healthy. Anytime I eat more than one or two cookies sweetened with brown sugar, or a little too much honey (really not excessive amounts) in the evening, I get pulsations in my stomache, twitching muscles, have difficulty sleeping, and wake up with sore muscles, bloating, and a foggy feeling as if I haven't slept that stays with me all day--along with excessive hunger and/or an inability to eat much without getting bloated or having sympotoms recur. interesting, eh? I also have hypoglycemic symptoms from time to time, am hypothyroid with other food intolerances (milk, wheat, etc.) and underweight. 27 yr old female in distress.

for the past 5 days i have been hearing the sound of my heartbeat in my left ear. it sounds similar to a sonogram(sp*?).
i went to a medical center which i think has nurses that look at you. this was 3 days ago when i went. the nurse said i should take Sudafed(sp?*) and see where it goes from there because he said he saw fluid in my ear. if it did not stop within 3 days, i should go to an ENT.
well, i still hear the heartbeat and im getting nervous it is something other than just fluid in my ear.
any answers to what else this could be?

Recently I got a cold sore on my lip (I have had them in the past) and my boyfriend doesnt seem to be comfortable with it. I understand that kissing should not occur and that it is contagious more so when you have a break out. However, his recent reaction really hurt my feelings. He said that he doesnt know if this is something that really bothers him or not. I asked him if my breakouts were going to be an issue in our relationship. and he answered with "undecided". He stated he wanted to do some research on it. That really hurt me. We have been together for over a year and this is the second time I get it in that time. He didnt say much the first time he saw me with a cold sore. I cant help not feeling hurt or worried that he might break up with me over this. Should I be upset or should I be more understanding of his reaction. Cold sores are so common and people should not be treated like its a deadly diease. Need advice...but not rude advice...im hurting enough already.
