I've been having really sharp pain and numbness in my left hand and forearm. I play the trombone and type a lot so I think the pressure of holding the trombone could have caused it but I'm not sure.

Can somebody tell me if those are symptoms of Carpal Tunnel?

I'm 18 years old, and have been having chest pains for the past three years. It's not in one particular place, I have it mostly on the left side, and the middle, and sometimes radiates to the right side. Everytime I go to the doctor they say everythings fine which includes: the heart, lungs, breathing, etc. I always have trouble breathing when the chest pain occurs. The pain has gradually gotten worse, both in the amount of occurences, and the intensity on a scale of 1 to 10 ten being the most severe I would rate the pain as an 8 or 9. When I was around 13 or 14 years old a speacialst had sent me to a pediatric cardiologist to see if I could take some medicine. While there I had an EKG done, and the results said that one side of the heart is slower than the other and I think that's my right side, and that a normal heartbeat beats in the following order chamber 1, 2, 3, and 4. Finally, in August of 2006 when I was 17 years old I had experienced all the signs of a heart attack.

I habitually scratch and itch and have some scabs on my face, but the Doctor dignosed it as impetigo. Also he said I also have a MRSA infection and I also know what it looks like. I went to the CDC website and it looks more like an allegic reaction to something and the rash sounds like something that has been going around from school children, but it is not MRSA is there any way I can get a culture with out having to pay through the nose. I just think the the diagnosis is wrong and the medicne was over $200. what should I do?

I was walking home from school today, and i passed under a tree. And then, out of the blue, i got this weird, cold, tingly feeling in my lower abdomen/chest and thighs. And i checked, nothing wet had hit me, and no wind was blowing. I was just curious of what this sensation was, or if it is a symptom of something.

At this rate, is there anything clean and safe to eat anymore? E. coli is much worse than salmonella, since it is found in "feces", while salmonella bacteria can be quickly killed at high temperature!

I am about to start using Accutane, however I cannot seem to find out how much it is going to cost me?? I dont have health insurance and since I have to go through the initial steps of treatment before begining the actual medication I dont have a prescription to get an estimate from the pharamices. Can someone who is currently taking it shed some light on the approximate cost?! Thanks!

She is 30. From what I understand it is very rare. They are not giving her much more information than what I have already told you here. My question is how deadly is this? I am finding conflicting information. It is a mass on the outside of her esopogus. They gave her no information in the form of what stage it is in. They just said it was high grade. Can someone tell me something more about this kind of cancer?

29 Years Old
Was 350+ pounds dropped 120 of that 4 years ago w/ diet and exercise.
~1 year noticed decreased ability at gym.
~6 months ago, began havin trouble breathing, in general.
No history of asthma. No swelling of limbs. Can still last 30 minutes on a stairclimber. Resting Heart rate of 55-65. No heart murmurs/arrythmias. I have constantly draining sinuses. Blood work is fine, Xrays look OK, uranalysis is fine as well. Some slight wheezing, but rare. I dont smoke.

I have GERD (under control w/ meds) and began having slightly high blood pressure shortly before the breathing issues began. This is also under control, even under stress BP never goes above 140/80. I work a desk job, and I eat healthy.

I just cant seem to pin-point anything, the doctor has said maybe asthma, but it doesnt fit with the symptoms. If it were heart failure I would have swelling, increase in breathlessness when laying down and higher pulse. Asthma, COPD, there would be wheezing. I have good breath sounds

I am just concerned about a friend. She has a promiscuous past and has never used protection. She has had bloodwork done at a hospital but has never been to a gynecologist. Would the hospital pick up HIV or AIDS in their standard test?

I have had some weird symptoms over the last few days. I have felt really exhausted, sometimes I have a slight fever, i have had some depressed feelings, and some anxiety and stress. Could this be from the seasonal change and allergies?
