Hey I work in radiology and hear this word a lot from the radiologist. All it means in that there were no abnormalities seen. It would help if they could just say things is English huh.

Grossly means in whole. Unremarkable means nothing abnormal worth talking about is seen. Radiologists say "grossly unremarkable" when they cannot visualize anything abnormal on an image or scan. It leaves open the possiblity that something else could be wrong which cannot be seen, such as pathology so small it cannot be picked up on a scan.

It means you're boring, at least when viewed through with a catscan.
In this case, that's a good thing. You don't want doctors hmm-ing and haww-ing over a test result, and you certainly don't want to hear "Well, I've never seen this before..."
