That depends on what you mean by vertigo, what's causing it and whether you're taking any medication for it.

If you get dizzy and lose your balance for no apparent reason, it's best to avoid alcohol since this will only make your symptoms worse. On the positive side, you can drink water and still feel as bad as people who've spent a great deal of money to feel dizzy and fall over.

If you get dizzy spells only when you look down from a height, alcohol should not cause any problems as long as you don't finish up trying to dance on the bar.

If the symptoms are severe, you should consult someone to find the cause. Most problems of this type can be treated, but the medicine doesn't mix with alcohol.

Alcohol will definitely enhance your vertigo symptoms, and is likely to make you puke. I know this because I have had an inner ear disorder since childhood and I've never been able to drink. I get sick every time, and hangovers last for days. I'd stick to soft drinks.

I'm not sure, but...

If you don't have vertigo and you want vertigo, drink alcohol.

Having vertigo is like being drunk, so you'd be wasting your money.

If you're on antibiotics, the alcohol will cancel out its affect, which means it'll take you longer to get better.

Why would you want to? I feel like I'm already drunk when I have vertigo. I wouldn't want to make it any worse. I don't know if the room could spin any faster.

Alcohol is the cause of and solution to all of mankind's problems. It's not the cause of vertigo, but it won't make it any worse.

Ya right you numpty, its bad enough your head spinning around at 100 rpm without taking alcohol. Hey lets go for the grand slam and snort some coke; that will really blow your mind.
