I have poison ivy covering my forearms from trimming tree branches. My problem, other than it's extremely annoying, is that I work in a factory setting so wearing long sleeves is really hot.

I am 13 and just today my doctor told me and my parents that i have a heart murmur at first he said it was totally ok and then he gave us a number to schedule an apointment with a cardiologist and im afraid whats going to happen???

I'm a writer, and I'm looking for information on how injuries affect the body. For example, I'd like to accurately portray what happens if someone dies when hit over the head with a blunt object. I'm concern about my husband using a steroid for working out and having high blood presure and taking meds to control it...
He takes the steroid shot once a week so, he doesn't over use it but, I know he should not use it at all...due to health reasons & it's illegal.

I want to know if he's more in danger because of his health?

I had my last chemo treatment June 18th, 2007. Had my lumpectomy & they also did lymph node dissection July 6th. My black straight hair pretty much came off 3rd week after my first chemo treatment. I had super thick hair down to my butt and I miss it. I now (July) have some noticeable fuzz on my head. It's not as course or thick as it used to be. The weird part is that my brows & eyelashes didn't start coming off until just about 2 months ago or so. Does anyone know when it may start growing back? I literally have a few strands of eyelashes left. They used to be fairly thick & long & straight. Is this experience different for every race? I'm asian. I still have to receive radiation treatment soon, not scheduled yet. And still have to receive herceptine I.V. every 3 weeks until sometime early next year. I just got some fake eyelashes & now have to try & use them. I hope I don't accidentally glue my eyes shut trying to apply that thing on. Then I'd be a blind cancer patient. LOL!!! I sincerely appreciate anyone's input and good luck to everyone out there who shares the same experience as this. THANK YOU ALL!!!

i'm a little lost...my mom is supposed the have surgery to have a difibulator put in her heart...but the hospital told her she is getting a pacemaker...now i'm wondering are they the same or do she need to call and the the hospital that it is not a pacemaker it is a difibulator......PLEASE HELP......

Dad has colon cancer..and has had 2 treatments so far.. Folfox program.. Today, he did his blood work..and found out his white cell count is low..will have to another week to do his usually biweekly Tuesday treatment.. I am very upset, as I want him to get his 13 treatments done..of course..soon as possible. Has anyone had this happen? Thanks.. Concerned Daugther..

My dad is 90yrs old. Has a heart condition, and is on several medications. He has not been feeling well, and does not feel much like eating.. Although he knows that he has too. He keeps asking for light foods. The poor guy is about jelloed out. Any suggestions would be very appreciated. He does drink Ensure to maintain vitamins and minerals.

However, I have not had a cold since probably last year. What could be the reason for this post nasal drip? This is the 1st time in my life that I am experiencing it. It is not severe; I don't have sinus, or a sore throat, or have to spit out mucus. But I do have a light sensation of mucus settling in my throat, and I have to cough or clear my throat at least 3 times a day.
