I have poison ivy covering my forearms from trimming tree branches. My problem, other than it's extremely annoying, is that I work in a factory setting so wearing long sleeves is really hot.

I saw a report that said that the elevated CO2 levels are causing poison ivy to produce more urushiol - the active ingredient that makes you itch - than before.

When I get into the stuff, I use an over-the-counter lotion called Ivarest, I think. It has topical anesthetics that help stop the itch, and a weird minty smell. But if you get a really bad case, go to a doctor. They can give you some steroid creams and maybe even an injection that will help with the stuff.

I have a product that is new to the States and we have not tried it out on Ivy yet. The product is made for anything that effects the skin, from Eczema, Bug Bites to Acnse, you name it, Repcillin has shown to help.

Visit http://www.Repcillin.com/ to see more on the product.

If you want, email sales@africancures.com you address and I will send you 30g for free. (Worth $36). Try it on the Ivy and tell me how it does.

if it is really bothering you go to your doctor he can either give you prescription strength cream or a shot that will clear it up fast

if it is not that bad go to pharmacy and get something that says it has a drying agent this will clear it up faster than just something that takes away the itching
