My dads eyes are bleeding inside causing his vision to become blurry and will eventually cause blindness. What is the name of this condition? Also, their is a cancer drug treatment they can use to cure this condition but it isn't FDA Approved. Would you know what this drugs name is? I could contact my mom to find out but I'm not on speaking terms with her. I found this out through family. I'm afraid shes neglecting my dad by not getting him the treatment he needs, becasue of their money situation. Their insurance wont pay because drug isnt FDA approved

Okay, so I don't wash my hair really often because it doesn't dry easily..it takes like 2 days to air dry, 3 to 4 hours to blow dry/straighten.

I've washed it twice this week.

A few minutes a good I realized my head was burning, so I went to check and I saw one or two white dots, so I pulled it out and it was on my finger....I flipped out of course....do you think it is lice?
If it is..how in the hell did I get it?! D:

My friend is taking the allergy's medicine. My friend has cough, and sometimes cold since last 6 months. Her doctor told her that she might have allergy or acidity. But, right now she is taking the medicine for allergy, and she didn't see any changes until today. What does she suppose to do?

I suffer from Acid Reflex disease.
I'd kill to make it go away.
I go to sleep with heartburn and wake up with heartburn, i have heartburn nearly every day of my life and sometimes i cant even lay down without getting heartburn.
Standard medication such as Zantec 75 that my doctor reccomended isnt cutting it for me.
what are some other medicines (even prescription meds) that work very well?

P.S. I cant chew Tums because they not only make me gag, but if i manage to get them chewed without throwing up, its impossible to get it to go down.

The next day was the same, but the day after that, the lymph nodes in my groin were swollen. The bite was about two inches in diameter, with a dark spot in the middle like a blood blister, surrounded by a light red, uneven circle. It was on my right upper butt cheek, so whatever it was bit through my shorts and underwear, or crawled up my shorts and bit through my underwear. I ended up taking antibiotics and the swelling went down. Four weeks later, my skin is smooth but still discolored. The doctor said I had some skin loss. It doesn't bother me anymore, but I'm wondering, what the heck was it? I live in the northeast and we don't have the brown recluse or black widow. I never felt a thing when it bit/stung me. Doctor thought some kind of spider, but I'm not sure because it bit through clothes. Any thoughts? Thanks so much for all your help.

i saw this old ER episode (like 7th season) and all the doctors were like 'what is this' when they saw a little boy with measles, and they had to look it up in a book. Is measles really so rare that some doctors might not encounter it in their whole career?

I was sick with pneumonia and I suddently developed acne vulgaris on my back and chest. I've been to the dermotologist 3 times and he finally gave me acutane after giving me other topicals and oral meds. NOTHING has worked. I've tried tea tree oil, special soaps, lotions, everything. I'm 3 months pregnant. I've had an 8cm cyst on my left ovary that my doctor's have been monitoring. I went to a specialist yesterday, and it's now 10cm. They are wanting to remove the cyst and the ovary within the next week and a half. They said they will have to cut from belly button down which is right where the baby is at. I'm a NERVOUS WRECK! I am going to have a specialist do it, but was curious has anyone had this happen or know anything about this?? Will the baby be ok? Especially with them opening my stomach completely up and being put under anesthesia? And removing my ovary...is this a major surgery-I'm literally scared to death and would like any advice anyone can give from experiences or knowledge. Thank you soo much!

Ok i am having a serious problem with ringworm. I thought it was an insect bite about a week ago, so I bought some cortizone stuff. I applied that the first night , then read later that day that that stuff spreads the fungus around. So now I have even more. I tried this 8 dollar stuff over the counter for 3 days and got no where with it. I read online to use bleach. I used bleach but I think I may have left it on to long. ( people were saying they used bleach and it went away fast) I know think I burned my skin. Left it on for like 25 min or so in different places. Then I just rinsed it off with cold water. I do notice one spot is kinda browninsh and has a little burn sensation. I dont have medical and I am not going to the doctor untill a week from today if I get no progress. I just want to know basically do I have a bleach burn, or would that feel like I want to die.

I have got a hernia and have had for about 1 year?
it has never really bothered me!
But in the last month i have been getting a bit of pain, and in the last couple of days i have had a lot of problems
eg: cramps, swelling,feeling sick, not being able to go to the toilet (if you know what i mean!) and all in all i have been in alot of pain!

so i went to the doctors today and they put me on a 8 plus week waiting list to have a op.
BUT i really do not think i will be able to wait that long.
what do you think i should do?
and is it safe to wait that long, when i am having so many problems with it?
has anyone else out there had this?
PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!!

look at the picture, i think my eyelid is inflamaded/swallwen?? it doesnt hurt, but it bothers me, i feel one eye smaller than the other one, can anyone help and tell me how to reduce it?? my mom told me it was inflamated and should use some ice, please help, it is very noticeable.

Here's my opinion.
I am so glad that this is fianlly happening. If you're smoking when you're alone, I really don't care, If you smoke in a public place, you're kinda sad.
Say you have a cancer stick in a public toilet - everyone who then goes in that public toilet, breaths in all the cancer smoke that's been wafting around in your mouth and lungs.
It's pretty damn selfish to smoke where others are - especially if the others around you are children.
Smokers affect other peoples health like that just so you can drug have a ciggy.
That is, however, just my opinion. What do you think of the smoking ban?

My friend had told me some GOOD NEWS!! The STD-Genital Warts that had is gone!!!

The VIRUS is gone!!

Her HPV Pap Smear test came back NEGATIVE and the only way she can get it, is if someone else has it or whatever!

So, I believe that your body can FIGHT OFF THE VIRUS!!

At first the doctor said that the virus is with you for the rest of your life.....research studied NOT TRUE. Between the ages of 17-29, your body can fight it off easily.

It's up to one man that can help you and that's GOD!!

What are the symptoms I should look out for? Symptoms where the rabies vaccine is needed? Can rabies be detected through a blood test?
