Im 5'4 & 94lbs. Ana has helped me in coping but I cant keep ana but without her Im not going to stay alive. If I keep her Im not going to be alive. I have tried to be in recovery but I failed & now I want her in my life. She keeps me out of the hospital. Usually I have already been in this spring & summer but I havent I believe its because of going to ana. Anas the best coping skill even though its the most hurtful. I realize this doesnt make any sense to a lot of people but maybe someone on here will think it does make sense & give me advise. I cant afford to go inpatient right now. My parents think that Im at a healthy weight even though they know how much I weigh. They dont see the sypmtoms I see and since mom is on a dieting she thinks that I should eat as much as she does which is actually less than she does because she eats several times a day & I eat once a day.

for the last 5 generations my family have developed unstable diabetes around the age of 50-55 years of age - which needs regular insulin. my mother and her sister and brother have not got it. can it skip a generation and i can get it .my own father was also diabetic, so is there a strong link, gp keeps testing me for it.
grans had it for 45 years and i have seen the effects it can have and the close monitering it needs and i'm a little scared really as life is fast approaching that age. i know it can be treated affectively. has anyone else been scared they might also get it, how did you cope.

what are the limitations of an ecg, can they show signs for the majority of heart conditions? I have been experiencing rapid heart rates at random times with intermittent chest pain on occasions. I have a slight tightness in my chest too. I had an episode when i was walking through town where i felt light headed and my lips went blue apparently, my heart started to race, it calmed down after 2 minutes or so. I went to the hospital where i was given an ecg and told i was ok and to go home. I have spoken to my doctor about this before but am always met with reluctance to refer me on for other tests, they just say its anxiety, but they never give me any answers. My ECG's are all fine but i am not convinced.

For the past 20 mins or so I have been getting this weird beating feeling (heart beat) in my upper arm and shoulder. I have heard that this is a symptom of a heart attack. I am beginning to really worry about this and I am prone to panic attacks/anxiety causing me to feel short of breath and have chest pains, numbness in hands and feet ect. After reading about what a heart attack feels like the symptoms the symptoms are really similar to those of a panic attack.

Am I having a heart attack or is this just a panic attack brought on by that weird pain in my shoulder?

Is the beating feeling in my shoulder serious?

Please help, thanks.

My aunt was diagnosed with cancer in December they said it was stage 4 ovarian in February and she had surgery.. They removed all her woman organs and part of the colon... then a few weeks after surgery she started chemo and in June she was told it already spread to the liver and now they are changing her chemo.. She seems very depressed and sick looking and she is also going threw a divorce my question is how likely would it be for her to beat it? And with this info, how long would you say she could make it?

I completely admit.. i was an idiot. Please.. i know you dont know your affect on a random stranger.. but hurtful answers will erally really upset me.

About 3 years ago.. i was used ( i dont want to get into it) and contracted genital warts. It was nothing disgusting like the pictures.. it was literaly a dot or two the size of a pin head.... anyways... i got treated.. and they went away.

Now three years later.. since then ive been obbessed with watching out for it.. i have my annual exam tuesday.. and im pretty sure a little area came back. I now have a very very serious boyfriend.. who i (stupidly since they were gone) never told. i know.. im so selfish to do that..

Anyways.. hes who i want to be with forever.. and if i do have it.. im so so scared to tell him. Has anyone ever been in this situation? I know he lvoes me so much... but im so so scared ot tell him. Would you leave me?

I feel horrible. please encouraging words only. im so upset.

i forgot to save a coke bottle that i was gonna use for a science experiment, and i brought it out from the trash like a day later. the cap was screwed on tight and there was like corn skin and stuff all around it, and then i washed it in incredibly hot water and soap for like 5 minutes. is it alright to use and drink or is there bacteria and tapeworm eggs and stuff in it? should i soak it longer? hahaha i already put it on my mouth briefly for some reason, but then i washed and rubbed my mouth for a little. hahaha btw, i had ocd!!! :(

PLEASE don't just scribble "go to a doc" I'm well aware this site is not a diagnosis, I am just looking for IDEAS that I can mention to a doc. thanks :)

Some friends have suggested Chronic Fatigue, others Bi-polar, someone here suggested Hypoglycemia (I already know I have that, but this is more then that).

I am tired 24/7
By afternoon I have headaches & am easily aggitated
I am not able to conentrate, focus & have poor memory.
I tend to get heart palptations off/on.
I ache all over alot of the time, epsecially after relatively mild/moderate exertion (and I'm really miserable after a 5 mile walk/bike ride with the dogs)
I have severe panic attacks
In the mornings I am somewhat hyper ready to get the day going, by noon or afternoon I just want to crawl into a hole.
I also have insomnia.
I tend to get sick after I eat dinner (racing pulse, dizziness, nausea)

lol...ok ok I know I'm a mess rofl. But any ideas? Just looking for ideas, not a diagnosis! Thanks :)

I suddenly remembered an incident that happened about 1 1/2 years ago. I was at a bar, and the next morning, I noticed some sort of mark on my middle finger. I'm not sure what it was, but it seemed and felt like a pinch, or a puncture of some sort; it was reddish and it seemed to be pretty deep in the skin. It went away after a little while, and I didn't really think anything of it since. Now I'm kind of freaking out because I'm worrying if I might have accidentally pricked myself with something (like a needle).

I know that there could be a much better explanation, but I dunno I'm worried. I don't think I've had any strange symptoms, but I noticed that I have these small little pimple like bumps on the back of my neck. I've had them for a while; I can't remember when they showed up, but it might have been way before or around the same time as this incident. They could as easily just be a skin condition. They don't hurt or anything, but they're still there.

Sigh please help me. :(

I've had a few doctors do this, and can't figure out what this test is for... They squeeze your wrist near your pulse point and say "let me know if you feel anything in your fingers, or if you don't feel any numbness or changes..." Then they do it on the other hand, and say "Feel anything?" and "Are both hands the same or is there a difference in what you feel?"

Is this a heart thing, a neurological thing???? I never understood what this tests or what they are squeezing at your pulse point.

I'm a 15 year old female. I exercise in the evening after dinner; I walk and run but not too much becuase I have high blood pressure and I need to be careful. Anyways, there are slight chest pains, not too severe, but it hurts. I don't know why or I don't know if this is related to my high blood pressure. I only exercise for an hour and I don't think that's too harsh on exercising. Does anybody possibly know the causes of my chest pains? The chest pains aren't that severe that it brings me to my knees but still the chest pains hurt and it makes it harder for me to breathe. Thanks. And please no rude answers to this question.
