I dont know whether it will show or not. I do know that I took a tour of a Radiology Lab in a major Hospital and they showed us lungs that had been removed from smokers. They were caked like coated with charcoal and with a knife or instrument you could flake off pieces of the burnt tissue, formerly the lung. It is time to quitsmoking. Your parents already know you smoke. They smell it on you, its in hour clothes. When you smoke youdont realize how much odor the cig give off.
Time to quit---Start thinking about it. A Serious answer is what you wanted.

probably not after only 2 years of smoking. there is damage that occurs but its usually not detectable for many many years. emphysema will show in the form of a flattened diaphragm, before that the xray tech should ask if there are any chest complaints or if you smoke for your x-ray history. other signs of a smoker is prominant lung markings that cam resemble chronic bronchitis. as a smoker, my advice is to quit now before the strong addiction happens. this fall, im trying the chantix, but ive had this habbit for 20 years and would like to stop.

The X-Ray will probably will show significant tar and residue in your lungs from smoking. Most lungs from smokers are brown in color and filled with smoking material, and this shows up clearly on the X-ray. Quitting will take at least 5 years for the soot and carcinogens to clear the lungs.

If there is damage from you smoking.Or if you have copd.At your age if you quit it should get better very soon and clear up .They say if you smoke and quit you have lungs close to some that never smoked with in 10 years or less.Probably much less because of your age now if you stop it is much better for you.Hope you quit.Good luck

Depends on how heavy of a smoker you were. It can show changes in your lungs but being that you are young probably not enough that will show on a chest xray yet.. And yes you should stop now and you can keep from your lungs getting in worse condition

Most likely. Your lungs turn black from the tar in the cigarettes.
YOU THINK YOUR PARENTS DON'T KNOW, NOW THAT IS FUNNY.
It takes a month of not smoking to purge your lungs of one year of damage.
Teenagers are so naive. Mine were too.
