I have these lumps on both of my breats...
They were there ever since I started to go throught puberty, so I thought it was normal.
The lumps don't hurt...but can this be breast cancer??
and yes im 14.

When my breasts first started to develop, I had identical lumps in both of them pretty much directly under each nipple), which eventually became soft as my breasts grew. To have lumps in your breasts as they begin to develop is normal, I think it took 3 or 4 years for mine to completely go away. It's better to err on the side of caution. Like all of the other contributors, I too would suggest that you see your family doctor, if for no other reason than to put your mind at ease. It's rare to have breast cancer in someone so young, but not unheard of, and as for how long will she live, well.. the sooner she finds out and has it diagnosed one way or the other, the higher her chance of survival.

Anything is possible but it is very doubtful that a 14 year old would get breast cancer. It is more common after menopause. And even if she did have breast cancer it doesn't mean she will die. I had breast cancer 3 years ago and am doing just fine. My sister had it 14 years ago. She too is doing fine. My aunt has had it twice

its rare but anything is possiable with cancer but its most likely something else talk to your mom and go see a dr to find out for sure. Many women are living long full lives if its caught early enough. Remember it's never too early to start monthly self exams

it is possible for a person of any age to have cancer breast cancer in younger people is a lot rarer then in older people thou if that offers any comfort as for how long a person will live it all depends on how early it is treated..there have been many advances in BC treatment and many people go on to live long happy lives
