Do NOT follow the advice of these people who tell you to unwind a coat hanger and scratch. I worked in an ortho clinic for years and have seen some horrible infections caused by scratching with coat hangers. Some of the infections led to more surgery.
Try baby powder and benadryl.

try sprinkling baby powder into your casts, or some kind of anti itch powder (Gold Bond?). A coat hanger works for scratching, but be careful, because if you break the skin you can get a nasty infection, and you won't be able to do anything to help it until your casts are off.

they itch because of dry skin drink 2 glasses of water right now if this persist a shishcabob wire can help scratch the spot, a little skin lotion on the wire can assist too.

Try putting some baby powder down in the cast then blow the cool air, corn starch from the kitchen will do the same, it drys the moisture. please don't use the metal coat hanger or anything like that, you could make a sore that will get infected in that dark moist environment

sorry to hear about that. The only way you can scratch is either unraveling a wire hanger or get a back scratcher thin enough to fit.

I know that feeling too it is hard, all u have to do is to use a thin stick. also try to forget about the itching.
I wish u recover fast. and return to ur normal live.
