Okay, so I don't wash my hair really often because it doesn't dry easily..it takes like 2 days to air dry, 3 to 4 hours to blow dry/straighten.

I've washed it twice this week.

A few minutes a good I realized my head was burning, so I went to check and I saw one or two white dots, so I pulled it out and it was on my finger....I flipped out of course....do you think it is lice?
If it is..how in the hell did I get it?! D:

It could be lice or dandruff. so wash your hair more often and dont bleach that hair. And you should probably use a hair dryer. ( i guess :-)

Lice eggs will make a popping sound if you squish them between your finger nails. They also stick to your hair, whereas most white bits (dandruff, fluff, etc.) come away quite easily.

If you do have it, tell your folks. Get some over the counter treatment from the drugstore. Strip your bed of it's sheets and blankets and wash them while you are doing the treatment.

Having lice doesn't mean you have bad hygiene. It means you were around someone else who has lice. Let the people you are close to know that you have lice so that they can check for them as well. Otherwise you may end up getting them again.

Actually, clean hair allows the egg to bond to the hair easier, as far as how you got it is anyone's guess, it is at epidemic proportions in the public schools, I don't know how old you are but I would check family members of school age, or that play with other children, until you isolate the problem, you can spend hours removing every nit (egg) only to have it reappear, been there done that.

lice actually usually grows on really clean hair. it is easier for them to move around in. was it moving? how big was it? it may have just been dead skin, but i think you would have know that. if you see more, then go to the doctors and he can perscribe some special shampoo too kill the nasties. good luck,.

well, is it itchy?

and lice is black when full grown

so it might be it, and since it sounds like you have a lot of hair,

so ask someone to check your scalp
