I keep hearing that it's rare before 40ish... But is there an actual percentage for the chance of a 20-year-old girl getting breast cancer? Especially one who has it in her family, but only after menopause? If so, would there be any chance of an advanced stage, or would it more or less have to be one of the early stages? (And furthermore, how big are lumps?)

I'm trying to put my friend's mind at rest, can anyone help?
She has OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) and worries constantly about being infected with diseases - especially HIV and Hepatitis B/C.
Anyway, what happened is she saw a tiny line/mark of something red on her finger (on that transparent bit between her finger and nail).
She hasn't come into contact with any blood today (as far as she knows), and her healthcare workers are always telling her not to jump to the conclusion that everything red she sees is blood.
Well, what happened is when she saw this red on her she wet her finger with some spit and tried to rub it off, it didn't come off so she thought it couldn't be blood - so she then put the same finger on the end of her tongue again to get some more spit to rub it once more - it still didn't come off.
Wanting to make sure further she got a cotton bud and wet it with spit, then she rubbed the mark again and this time it came off. She's worried she's now infected.

I get an uncomfortable feeling so I go to sleep a little early.Wake up the next morning, I notice a fever.I got less than 10 hours of sleep.Throughout the day, I feel fatigue, so I got some rest for an hour during the afternoon.I slept with my whole body under some thick blankets because I was cold (not shivering) and had goosebumps. When I woke up, my sister described me as an oven because she could feel my heat from an inch away without touching me.In the car, my forehead did not seem hot.But when we got to the restaurant my fever got higher while we were waiting for the food. That night, I slept early. But during my sleep, I had a nightmare that made me wake up almost crying. It was one of those nightmares that happened before but you can't really remember it or describe it. I slept for 13 hours that night. While up, I had a very mild headache that went away in a few min. I have also lost my appetite and cough(kinda dry) 10-20 times a day. Please diagnose this.Im 11.

My son is a junior in college carrying a 3.92 GPA. He is in summer school living in a dorm and has had 3 seizures within a week. His roommate had called the paramedics and he has visited the ER on 3 separate occassions. The school is discussing whether or not to make him leave because he is a danger to himself and not fair to the other students. For the last 4 yrs this has been going on at home. He is under the care of a top notch neurologist and is on the best antiseizure Rx. If he has to leave school I don't want him home if he continues this behavior. I have had no peace for the last 4 years and am at wit's end. What do I do? Where can I send him? I don't have much money as he has run up a large medical debt. I wish he would just take his medicine but he hates the side effects.

I asked a question previously, this is like a follow up for it.

My partner's balance is off, when he walks it is like his balance is off and has to hold on to the wall.

He says his legs feel like jelly, like they are not his.

He has no other symptoms, no head trauma or pain to the hips or legs.

He had a doctor's appointment today and they referred him to the hospital.

Why is this?

He has no slurred speech, not pains anywhere on his body, nothing at all, its so strange.

I started itching night before last and it's still going. There are bumps, but they're not red--they're the same color as my skin. In some areas where I am itching, there are no bumps. THis has happened once before, a few months ago. It only lasted a couple days or so, but it seems as if I am itching more this time. I haven't changed my diet, or started using anything new. What could this possibly be--just a general guess? Should I go to the doctor to get an antihistamine?
