I like to smoke about 2 cigars every month and a cigarillo sometimes. Will it be really bad for me if I do that? I exercise everyday(CROSS COUNTRY) also.

It's not too bad really, but it's always better not to smoke at all.

seriously, to tell you the truth.. I dont think it will do much harm.. just the occasional smoke. I light up a cig every once in a while too. The thing is, just so you dont get addicted. I havent even smoked that much and I think that I may already be starting to have a problem with it. I guess its kind of like social drinkers who only have alcohol a couple times a month, but if you are not careful it can get way out of hand! I hope this helps, and take care! :)

Yes it is worse. And the honest answer is one inhaled cigar a week is not going to affect an active athlete. If you start smoking more consistently it will affect your lung capacity = bad for sports. The reason b&m's are worse then cigarettes when inhaled is the fact that they are not filtered and have higher amounts of tar in them.

Smoking is hazardous to health. But 2 cigars really isnt gonna do **** to your health. Some factors are if you inhale or just keep the smoke in your mouth. How big of drags you take etc.

The chances of getting cancer is negligible from that amount. I knew a lot of folks who were in their 80s and 90s that had occasionally smoked a cigar. Stroke and old age was their problem, not lung cancer.

Speaking from strictly a health standpoint, I can't think of any type of benefit this activity imparts to your overall constitution. However, I believe the bad effects to be negligible in the light of how satisfying to the psyche a small indulgence like this can be. Life is for living, so live it up!

Even though you don't smoke often, it's still bad if you smoke on occasion. It's still poisoning your throat and the people around you.

Yes it is bad. I don't care if it's only once in your life it's bad. You'll see, keep doing that two a month and you won't be able to do any more cross country.
