Diseases & Conditions - 1 June 2007

For about a month now, i've had what i thought was a viral flu (told by the doctors it was). But a month seems just a little too long. I've been dizzy, haven't really been able to eat too much, peeing ALOT (every 30 min or so) and having an on and off low fever. I'm also very congested, and the doctors thought it might also be sinusitis. I'm worried something more along the lines of diabetes... or pregnancy???? eeek. I took a pg test today and it was negative, and i'm also on my period so i highly doubt that it's pregnancy. I have slight anxiety feelings every now and then also that started when the sickness started. Doctors also tested for a thyroid problem... negative. Does this sound like something serious like diabetes or anything like that?? =(

A few months ago, I noticed that my shoes would get tight in the afternoon. I realized my feet was swelling but it was not really that bad. Lately the swelling seems to be getting worse as it gets later into the night. What can be causing this? Is there anyway to alleviate this?

Woah! Have you ever seen that before? It's just like white jellyfishes with thin tentacles that're approximately 3 cm long. The "head" stays afloat and the tentacles are underwater.

What should I do with them? Can I make money with polyps? Is that rare? Or should I just run to the doctor?

A freind of mine is diabetic,..specifically my Dad,...drinks diet Pepsi all the time. Drink around 2 large bottles a day. He is Debetic.

I have always had horrible pain (bladder) for a long time now. Im so over it, I just don't wanna feel it anymore, I don't wanna feel when it contains urine, when it doesn't, when its infected, ever!
I've been to doctors for this pain, it isn't a uti or treatable...
However, I wanna have the nerves cut. I don't know if this would require pelvic nerves, or the stretch receptors.
I've only done minor research. I haven't made any decisions yet, but I want to know how they do this (as I know they can), and how it affects the urinary system etc.

When it first started growing it was like a clear bump with a white edge. Then when it got to full size(now) it is like a little yellowish and the center of it is rough. I have one big one about the size of a thumb tack. Right above it another has finished growing. About 3\16 of an inch another is just starting to grow on the left of it. Straight down all the way down my foot where the rough part of your foot is and your heel starts I just noticed another growing! What could this be??

Serious answers only the first one started growing about a year ago.

and he says he is ALWAYS there for me.
and he says all this stuff that makes me trust him.
and i consider him family...
but sometimes i think it is just an act.
and if i really needed him... he wouldnt be there.
and even if he was there... sometimes he acts like i dont exsist.
and says he never ignores me...which isnt true,
and i dont know... i just want to know if something bad happened...
if he would be there. or if i did something stupid...

If someone was having a heart attack, and their pulse sky rocketted up real high, would they be able to bring down their heart rate on their own without medical attention, if this was infact a heart attack?

I've been having stomach issues since I was very young (i'm 22). I get nauesous a lot and have an upset stomach at least once a week. I don't go to the bathroom often at all. I have been paying more attention to it as I get older, and I remember at one point I went about 10 days without going. Other times I'll go maybe once a week, but usually following an upset stomach. Could this be what is preventing me from losing weight and causing me to feel sick so often? Anyone have a similar problem or know if this is IBS or some other illness? I asked my doctor about a year ago and she said it was normal, but I don't feel normal! I'm not overweight, but I would like to lose a few pounds and it's nearly impossible. I'm sick of always feeling sick. It makes it hard to go out and do things

I have raw food allergy syndrome. Does anyone else out there have this? If so which foods are you allergic to. I basically can't eat anything raw except berries and citrus. I have a lot of allergies and it wasn't until I was 24 that I was told I CAN eat most fruits and veggies as long as they are cooked. I was also told that I have legume allergies and to stay away from peanuts but as an adult they said I do not test allergic to legumes. I am too scared to try...I have never had peanut butter.
