My 15 week baby is unable to settle, constantly fidgeting and is covered in spots. He has had the usual paracetomol and I have used calamine and glycerin cream but wondered if anyone could suggest any other helpful hints to help settle him.

If you were told by the Centre for Disease Control that the person who sat next to you on the plane had the most drug-resistant form of a potentially fatal disease, knew that he was infected, didn't tell anyone, and traveled against his doctor's and the CDC's recommendations simply because he didn't want to change his plans?

Personally, I would have his bits on a plate regardless of whether or not I became infected.

Thanks a lot for your help n advise. but please advise that my girl friend's doctor has asked me to take both the medicines DIFLUCAN (FLUCONAZOLE) x 1 tablet and SECNIDAL (SECNIDAZOLE) x 2 tablets as a single dose. I dont see any kind of infection symptoms in my pubic area or feel anything abnormal. Shall I take thses two medicines or only. Fluconazole. Here I would also add that I am engaged only with one sexual partner for the past 10 years. So how could I or my girl friend could carry this fungus? Is it normal or she might be cheating on me?

Hi, my girl friend has recently been diagnosed with Candida. She is being treated with DIFLUCAN (FLUCONAZOLE) and SECNIDAL (SECNIDAZOLE) both oral tablets. Her doctor has advised me to use the same medicine (as a single dose) as a precautionary measure. I am confused whether to use it or not. please help.

I have extreme hypochondria, I am a virgin waiting for marriage but I am extremely terrified of HIV and having it. I am scared that my darkened skin is due to jaundice which can be a symptom of HIV. However, a few weeks ago, I was burned pretty badly in the tanning bed....does this have something to do with things? Although I am a virgin, I get so scared so I have been tested for HIV 3 times within the last year and everyone of them came back negative, I am not an IV drug user, I am a virgin and my parents are completely healthy. Should I worry about my darkened skin being jaundice or is it just from whenever I was burned from the tanning bed?

I am 18 years old. I know that it usual doesn't become a threat until 40 years of age, but lately:

-I have been overly tired
-My stool is thinner then usual
-I have had diarhia on and off
-It has a different texture and odor to it

I am in a panic right now and am hoping to hear that this is just a virus or something.

If someone could please let me know their thoughts.
41 yrs old. Right oophorectomy (beign r. ovarian tumor removal along with fallopian tubes. 10 months later I started having R. Temporal lobe seizures. Stopped periods but still a cycle monthly (I guess) because my seizures happen like clockwork one week out of the month. I have 3-4 in that week.
I also started after my surgery having terrible aches and pains. Lower leg aches and lower arms aches. Terrible back pain and it felt like i had the flu all the time because of the body aches. extremely fatigued. On State disability for one year. I continue to have seizures every month even though I'm on tegretol. The dr just send me to mental health. I am really at a loss because it seems like the seizures, menopause, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue are all because of the surgery. The Mri shows a r. temporal lobe lesion and thats it. I can't imagine starting to have seizures out of the blue at 41.

If a person is facing away from me, so I am looking at their back, their right lung should be on my right and their heart apex should be pointing to my left.

On the postero-anterior chest X-ray, why does the right lung appear on my left and the apex of the heart point to my right?

Is the image being flipped horizontally???

And if this is the way they are done, why are they done this way?

Once i got cold sores from being sick...i have gone to the doctor and said everything is fine so i know that the dark spots on my lips are not anything bad, but i just dont like how they look...is there anything to clear or lighten the spots? i have heard that putting lemon juice helps to clear spots on lips over time....My doctor told me that it is a scar from the burning the cold sore did to my lips and that in some people naturally it takes a longer time to go away...but now im desperate for them to go away..Since im a guy i cannot wear lipstick so do you guys have any other suggestions? Once again, i have done tests at my doctor's and everything til' now is healthy...i emphasize this because i have asked this before and people answer that i should go see a doctor because i might be sick...it is not the case here...i just want something to make the scars/spots go away! Thanks a lot for suggestions!

There are home kits as well as spas that do Brazillian waxes. I never have had one done and I don't know if they use harsh chemicals. I have herpes and wonder if this will cause more problems. Any other girls out there with herpes ever had this done? If so did it make any difference with the herpe condition?
