Of course. A person can get any STD, including HIV, even if a condom was used. Condoms are not 100% effective. They definitely help prevent the spread of STDs, but they are not 100%!

In theory if you use a latex condom you are much less likely to get HIV. Polyurethane condoms are good as well, but dont have as many test
