According to federal health officials, it's safe to eat spinach grown outside California's Salinas Valley, and the leafy greens could return to produce shelves in a few days.

Would you purchase ANY Spinach this soon after the E. coli outbreak that killed up to 3 people and sickened 166 people in 25 states through Friday?
Or would you rather wait a couple of months just to be sure there is no more E. coli in the vegetable?

About four months ago I noticed a tiny little bubble on my top lip. I gently scratched it and went about my day. By that night my whole top lip was covered in tiny bubbles that just kind of oozed and made my lip look slightly swollen. I had poison ivy about a week before and was told that once it gets into your blood stream in can show up again on irritated skin. I assumed that this is what it was.

About two weeks ago I felt it come back on the top corner of my mouth. It only lasted a day. Yesterday it came back full force. I thought this was a little strange for poison ivy to last so long so as I was thinking I realized that the last two times it happened and possibly the first, I had eaten cantaloupe. This most recent time, I took about two bites because it tasted funny and I threw it away.

I have always known that I have a slight allergy to cantaloupe because it will make the back of my mouth itch at times. But can it make your lips swell with tiny, oozing bubbles?

According to the chart on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/hiv which I believe was published by the CDC, risk on getting HIV from a positive individual is often 1 in a thousand or less, and some doctors think it's close to 1 in 10,000 risk of getting it from a positive person.

If it's so hard to catch, why is it so prevalent in the world and espcially in Africa, where in some areas, at least 1 out of 4 people are positive.

The CDC's numbers don't seem to jive with what's happening. Can anyone tell me when that set of statistics were published? Mutations might account for an increase in how contagious it is.

My symptoms started out as sinus pain/congestion, itchy throat, itchy inner ears, slightly itchy eyes, clear runny nose, sneezing, post-nasal drip which caused a scratchy throat and dry cough. My symptoms have now developed into a very runny nose with more color (yellowish green), and a more productive cough (I can feel the chest congestion). I'm still experiencing the itchiness in my throat and ears (just not as strongly). In the beginning it seemed like an allergy, but now it seems like a cold.

I know a person who is ALWAYS lying and making up stories that are off the wall just to do it. They claim she has Graves Disease and all the extra chemicals that her brain is producing causes her to lie and make up stuff all the time. Is it really true that this Disease causes you to excessively lie? Thanks.

I have fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue - for the last couple of years when ever I feel tired I feel nauseated - Im just not sure why this happens??? Before my husband understood much about these 2 conditions he just said well if your tired go to sleep - however I also get pretty bad insomnia so being tired (feeling like the walking dead sometimes) doesnt mean I can go to sleep.

I had unilateral headaches for weeks along with a feeling of pressure in my head. It almost felt like someone was squeezing the top of my head. I started getting dizziness and feeling very disconnected from my body. Almost anxious feeling and a little depressed. Thought I was premenopausal and crazy! Went to a few doctors before I was referred to excellent physical therapist who has been doing cranial sacral work on me 2x/week for 3 weeks now. I feel like a new woman. He said it is called trigeminal facilitation. I would like to learn more about this and know if anyone else experienced this.

Any treatments out there to undo this. I saw a documentary on Fox Tv about a procedure, similar to angioplasty, whereby the nasal bones are cracked, in order to open up the airway, and the patient noticed remarkable improvemnt in the way she sounded. Any views on this?
