I have fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue - for the last couple of years when ever I feel tired I feel nauseated - Im just not sure why this happens??? Before my husband understood much about these 2 conditions he just said well if your tired go to sleep - however I also get pretty bad insomnia so being tired (feeling like the walking dead sometimes) doesnt mean I can go to sleep.

I regularly have my blood sugar levels tested as I have insulin resistance - this is a high insulin level but a normal sugar level - sometimes I wake up in the night craving lots of sugar - I think my sugar levels bomb out occasionally

So, you are on a benzo and tricyclic. Just to make sure this is not associated with withdrawl/side effect from benzo, Do you take the benzo to get to sleep?
You do not consume tyramine, (aged chesses, smoked foods with your Tricyclic)?

When one gets a migraine, they often have nausea. Migrainers are suseptible to nausea! Sometimes nausea presents without the headache. Similarly, fatigue, if severe is accompianed by an inability of brain to conteract stress. The balance shifts and nausea wins.

Have you had the multiple sleep latency test done recently?

Remember, fibromyalgia is a diagnosis of exclusion. The doctor cannot say why you are tired, so he says you have FMA.

You really should see the doctor. Ask if he can refer you to a specialist in this area. I know a couple of people who suffer from the same thing, and it's not fun. Being so tired that you are nauseated is bad. Have your blood sugar checked too for diabetes or hypoglycemia. It's good that your husband is so understanding. But definitely see someone.

if you have chronic fatigue a simple answer for your nausea could just be due to the stomach muscles becoming tired as well, causing the stomach to want to evacuate the food to decrease the word load.

Have you been tested for diabetes? It may be that your blood sugar is running low and that is what is making you tired and nauseous. Have a physician do that simple blood test soon, if you haven't already.

You may actually have a physical reaction because you're so tired. Talk to your doctor about it.
