My ex-wife and eldest daughter have Psoriasis. My eldest cleared her life-long disease in a little more than three weeks.
The notion that psoriasis is one of those 'incurable' mystical diseases baffles me. The science is already available to repair and maintain the immune system - psoriasis is after all an immune related disease. It is also one of the "easier" problems to resolve. Our Governments and Institutions, in their stupidity, resist every attempt to promote anything which won't benefit a pharmaceutical company (in particular one in which a high and mighty nonce might have shares). Consequently, sufferers go on suffering.
So, at the risk of being hung drawn and quartered for assuming I have a right to free speech .... look for the company who pioneered the science of 'Glyconutrition', they will tell you why more than 2,000 doctors have left the medical profession simply because they get better results from this science.
Take care now.
Now I'll have to rush off and pursue a new identity.

I have had it for 12 years and it has gotten progressively worse. Tried methotrexate, but was hard on my liver. Tried tai-chi and natural supplements with no results. Finally tried Enbrel® and it works great! It does not have a negative effect on the liver, and my skin is almost completely clear. One thing I learned about psoriasis is some treatments work for one person, but the same thing might not work for you, so get with your dermatologist and figure out a game plan. Good luck!

Someone told me psoriasis has something to do with the build up of stuff in the liver. Therefore if you could purge your liver, you would be relieved of psoriasis. Milk thistle and evening primrose are two alternative medicines that are for the liver. Hope this helps.

My dad suffered quietly with it for most of his life. Even though I never had it, through my dad, I think I can understand what you are going through. I hope one day they will find a cure.
