Hepatitis B is transmittable through bodily fluid of any kind, this is one reason why if you come into contact with bodily fluids you should wear protective clothing and have an injection before you start work.

-- Hepatits B transmit mostly by blood through transfusion , contaminated surgical tools , shaving razor , deal with contaminated blood
-- Hepatits B also known to be transmited by unprotected sexual intercourse
-- The abbility of the virus to transmit through Saliva is not cleary proven as there is no clearly understood mechanisms but there is recorded causes that saliva supposed to be the mean of transmition

like hiv it would be very difficult to transmitt through saliva,
it mainly transmit through blood - blood which is why people in health care are vaccainated.
you can have this done too, it is in 3 injections spread out over 6 months and i think each one costs approx 50 quid

Occurs when blood from an infected person enters the body of a person who is not infected.
HBV is spread through having sex with an infected person without using a condom (the efficacy of latex condoms in preventing infection with HBV is unknown, but their proper use may reduce transmission), by sharing drugs, needles, or "works" when "shooting" drugs, through needlesticks or sharps exposures on the job, or from an infected mother to her baby during birth.

Yeah it can be transmitted through saliva only if you sit next to the patient. It can be transmitted through blood also. In case, they transmitted the blood of some Hepatitus B patient to someone else, he surely gets it.

Hepatitis B is largely transmitted through exposure to bodily fluids containing the virus. This includes unprotected sexual contact, blood transfusions, re-use of contaminated needles and syringes, vertical transmission from mother to child during childbirth, and so on. The primary method of transmission depends on the prevalence of the disease in a given area. In low prevalence areas, such as the continental United States, IV drug abuse and unprotected sex are the primary methods. In moderate prevalence areas, the disease is predominantly spread among children. In high prevalence areas, such as South East Asia, vertical transmission is most common. Without intervention, a mother who is positive for the hepatitis B surface antigen confers a 20% risk of passing the infection to her offspring at the time of birth. This risk is as high as 90% if the mother is also positive for the hepatitis B e antigen.
Roughly 16-40% of unimmunized sexual partners of individuals with hepatitis B will be infected through sexual contact. The risk of transmission is closely related to the rate of viral replication in the infected individual at the time of exposure.(wikipedia)
Hepatitis B is transmitted via blood and other body fluids. Infection can occur through:
Contact with blood in healthcare settings -- this puts physicians, nurses, dentists, and other healthcare personnel at risk
Unsafe sex with an infected person
Blood transfusions
Sharing needles during drug use
Receiving a tattoo or acupuncture with contaminated instruments
Birth -- an infected mother can transmit the virus to the baby during delivery or shortly thereafter.(Medlinelus)
The virus is transmitted through blood and bodily fluids that contain blood.
This can occur through direct blood-to-blood contact, unprotected sex, and illicit drug use.
It can also be passed from an infected woman to her new-born during the delivery process. (BBC news-Health)
