how is one supposed ot live with an alcoholic and not let the stress affect them?

I'm 6.5 months pregnant and the stress is affecting the baby. He's telling me that it's my fault for letting his drinking stress me out, that I have the choice to let it stress me out. I'm a bad mother for letting it stress me out so much that it affects the child.

How do others live with an alocoholic and not let it get to them? I don't want to be a bad mother, so I'm interested in techniques to help me with the stress.

So far the lady I'm seeing has remained about the same for the year I've been seeing her (I'm a home support worker). She has no short term memory at all and constantly tells me the same things from her childhood over and over. Today she just slept though.

The tumour is in the frontal lobe and spreading rather rapidly throughout the brain. They had originally been given 3 months left to live.

My preschooler was diagnosed w/ pin worms and she and my husband have both now been treated to prevent further infection in the family. I am two months pregnant and was advised by my daughter's doctor not to take mebednizole (sp?). He was unsure of a safe alternative for pregnancy. I would like to take something to ensure I don't end up w/ this horrific condition and reinfect my family. I will consult my OB as well, but am not sure he'll have any idea what to prescribe...if anything.

Ok first off I don't have Mysophobia (germ Phobia) or anything of that nature...

However, when I go to wal-mart I feel like I'm steping into a cesspool of germs. Snotty babies, sneezing kids, the floors are all full of crumbs, people everywhere touching everything. I usually try to not touch the grocery cart , doors, or the pen for the electronic Card reader. I NEVER use the bathroom there.
Its just so yucky that I finally decided that I would never go there again unless my normal grocery store (a nice upscale Fred Myers) was closed.

How about you? Wal-mart...Gross or not?

a dear friend of mine was taken to the hospital from the nursing home with chest pains. He was diagnosed with phemonia (he also suffers from diabetes, which is not under control, dementia, edema (from the diabetes and heart disease). The morning after being admitted he arrested (cardiac arrest). The ICU doctor was there when it happened and he "worked on him for 35 minutes" and he is now on a ventilator and undergoing hypothermic protocal, which from what I understand is to help his brain. He is being warmed up now and they will test brain function. One member of the family with health power of attorney, wants to keep him alive. His wishes were not to be kept alive, but to be let to Go to His FAther in Heaven. I know God is in control. Has anyone ever seen someone come out of a situation like this have a good quality of life? Any suggestions, or ideas? Please pray for grace in passing or a miracle that will restore him to a good quality of life.
Thank you

My wife has recurrent BV and she uses MetroGel to treat the infection. The treatment doesn't seem to work all that well since the BV seems to crop up somewhat rapidly afterwards. Can the infection be transmitted to the male? If I don't use an anti-bacterial wipe immediately after sex my penis will have that "fishy" smell for a couple of days (I am circumcised). At times I can smell the distinctive odor on her breath before she gives me oral sex even though we hadn't had any type of sex for over a week. She said that her doctor had recommended that I also should be treated with the MetroGel. I spoke with a representative from the MetroGel company who said I didn't have to be treated and that the bacterial vaginitis could be masking an STD.

I'm really at a loss to understand what's going on and my wife doesn't want to discuss it.
Any suggestions?

I would like to switch to using an insulin pen, preferably one that uses the BD Ultra Fine III Short Pen Needles (or equivalent). I want a fast-acting insulin. What I am really confused about is the difference between Humulin N and Humulin R, mainly the difference in how quickly they work. I would prefer to stick with Lilly, as they make my other pen, Byetta, and would likely use the same type of pen needle.

Do you or do you know of someone who has diabetes, and you or them are taking care of it by eating right and exercising, and not taking any drugs. If that is working for you or them, what type of plan are you or they doing?
