my husband seems to have nerve damage in one of his hands following multiple organ failure, he has had xrays an EMG test and an MRI, and they cant find anything. anyone ever have nerve damage and know how to help ease the pain and numbness? Or if it can be cured. This is very serious to me so please dont answer if you really dont know and only want points.

Walking in the dark increases the dizziness i have...which i think is due to the bradycardia i have.38bpm. After some testing...cardiology is sending me to a neurologist for MRI. I know that that there is many parts of the body that help with maintaing good equiliberium..i.e..cerebellum, ear, eyes. Just wondering if the increase in my symptom while being in the dark points to a specific area....brain, prehapes?

I have had Psoriasis for about as long as I can remember. I have been to several doctors and I get relief through ointments but it never goes away. I was wondering if anyone has had any success with any type of home cures?

When I go to bed I can't hardly sleep sometimes when there is a full moon. My nose itches and the bed occasionally will vibrate. It feels like electricity is shooting through my neck and it makes a funny little noise. It feels kinda like this: "zzzz....zzz....z..zzz". I told my wife about it and she said "i don't know what is happening to you... but you smell of rotten eggs in the morning." When I wake up I start sneezing.

I have had lupus for three years, but I just started get treatment from a lupus specialist at Magee womens hospital. I take a small dose blood pressure medication. But my doctor wants me to take plaqunil and prednesone. But those drugs have so many side affects and I hear so many bad things about how they help one thing but then something else breaks down, Then you are on this cycle of adding on medicine after medicine. I want to live, but I don't want to lose my eyesight, have liver problems, or other complication caused by these medicines. I know their has to be a way of life change, or natural medicine that will help and have less or no side affects. I lived three years without medicine or help. But I do notice that I had more flares lately. I need to make a decision, I recieved my plaqunil in the mail a week ago, i need to decide if I am going to take or find something else that help to present to my doctor at my next appointment. I want to live but not taking alot of medicine

My finger has this dry area on its base. It's really dry and it has cracks around it. It's rougher than the rest of the fingers and when you peel it, it secretes some sort of fluid. It has these holes under the skin, too where the fluid seems to come from and it has a small wound.

When I leave it alone, it has a yellowish streak across the finger after the peeled skin regrows. Applying lotion doesn't do anything.

I got slipped disk since one year. The L4 & L5 are affected. I get terrible sciatica pain and I am taking pain-killers everyday since a year. The doc. showed me some exercises but there is no improvement. Medical opinion is devided and some docs say I should go in for the surgery while some say surgery may not help much.

I was bitten by a spider over two months ago and have been seen by two different doctors and treated with antibiotics. It has turned into an ulcer wound and seems to be getting worse. Has anyone ever experienced this before? I was bitten just above my left ankle. It is swelling and I am in constant pain. Does anyone have any home remedies to treat this or to draw the venom out?

Help. I was with the same parner for 7 years and was diagnosed with Trich during a routine pap.
My partner tested negative and took the treatment anyways. My Dr. said i had it for more than a few months. I have never cheated on him but now I look really quilty.
Is is possible I could have contracted it from river water or a swimming pool?

My prepubescent daughter has had genital irritation for 6 months. She has undergone a myriad of treatments from several doctors without resolution. Some days she can barely stand to sit or wear underwear. There are no visible signs except red vaginal mucosa (hymen is intact), and the redness continues in a straight line up the crack of her hiney at times. No visible vaginal discharge or odor. The only things that help are baths or showers twice daily with no soap and topical steroids which I use sparingly. She has been treated with mebendazole (pinworm) twice with no effect, so that was ruled out. Two cultures showed normal bacteria inhabitance. We applied prescription antifungal creams (Protonix, Vusion, nystatin) to no avail. She has had two doses of oral antifungal (fluconazole) with no difference. We use All Free/Clear detergent, cotton white underwear, and white toilet tissue. She is fully potty trained. What differential diagnosis am I missing? Thank you in advance!
