They inject a chemical into you that stops your blood from clotting so they can suck it out, that chemical can contain the west nile virus, although only 1% of people actually get sick from it, just keep healthy, thats the only way known to help prevent it.

You can only get West Nile from the bite of a particular mosquito. While they are biting you the virus gets in your bloodstream.

yes, mosquito bites can cause West Nile Virus. that is why it is recommended that you:

a) wear long sleeves when mosquitos are most prevalent

b) use a bug spray containing DEET

some types of mosquitos do, and some types don't. and the types that do.. well they can harm you with viruses and stuff.

they carry a lot of viruses.it depends if they carry the infection. sorta like how std works
