Is warts caused from a virus? Can you go to a drugstore and buy a cream or solution to take them off? Can they spread to my girlfriend?

I went online to find out more about the soreness of my thumb and saw that it could be trigger thumb or DeQuervain's disease. I cannot bend my thumb, and also I believe the tendons are inflammed.

It hurts sometimes, but it it red, very small almost unnoticible bumps, it started out looking like a chigger bite.

This girl has type 2 genital herpes, her boyfriend gave her oral sex several times. It was not during an outbreak. I shared a cigarette with her boyfriend and halfway through the cigarette, found all this out. Is it possible for me to get herpes in my mouth? (he has had no signs of having it) And can he get it in his mouth from her?

I just moved to Franklin, Tennessee from Indiana two weeks ago. Just started a new job this week and yesterday, out of the blue, my ankles and feet start swelling. I am thirsty but not to the point where I HAVE to have a drink. I haven't been going to the bathroom more at night. THe swelling starts in the early afternoon and then by the time I leave work they are pretty swollen. I have been stressed lately. I am a single Mom and want to make sure this isn't serious.

My boyfriend was diagnosed with brain tumor 2-3 years ago. He stops taking any medicine and treatment after he thinks he has okay. But, for the past few months, his head feel sick again. It’s just like before, when he was sick. Now, he did not take any medicine because if he did, he easily forgetting many things. Nobody knows about this even his family and friends except me. But, thanks to god, I succeed to persuade him to seeing the doctor. today,now, i want to accompany him to do check up with the doctor. I just want to know what I should do, should I go with him to the doctor's room or waiting outside. What should i say if the results are bad? How can i tell his mother about his illness? (His family doesn't know about that).what the doctor will do?

if he must stay in ward tomorrow, I’m the one who must tell his family. That’s our promise..

I was just curious if anyone had any information about alopecia, and if there is a cure for it. I have had it for a while, but this it the worst it has ever been. It is fairly deppressing for me and I would love to know if there is a cure or some sort of treatment.

I have a large, hard bump located on one of my underarms and I noticed within the past half year or so, that it will come around and then go away after a while.... I was wondering if anybody knew what it could be, so I can take a look at some research before worrying too much about it... it's just that this time when it's come back, it hurts my whole arm, when I lift it... which, you know, kinda sucks.... can anybody help me on this one?

I have been sick for over 2 years, with alot of MS symptoms including brain lesions, etc. sensitivity to heat, and exhaustion, but the doctors are reluctant to call it MS, they are calling it a "inflammatory demyelinating disease"? why do you think they won't dx, and where can I go for help. The doctors recommended Mayo, but my insurance won't cover it.

My father has had Diabetes for a good 20 years and been able to control the sugar. Then he had to have Triple Heart Bypass surgery,about 7 years ago. The Doctors used some of his veins from his legs, and for the last 5 years he has had pain in his legs and feet. Now the Doctors tell him he may loose a leg?

I would like to know the symtoms and if there is any way to treat it? My dad has it and we would like to know if there is a way to ease the pain? Most days he can't even move, his muscles ache, and he is in pain all over. Google doesn't help much so please don't suggest it. Any websites would be good also.

Ok i have atheletes foot on my left foot and I have a few planters warts or some kind of warts on my right foot (on/round my toes) I was going to the dr's every 2 weeks last yr to have freeze off stuff put on the warts, but i got sick of making dr visits every two weeks so i bought some freeze off stuff from walmart and have been putting that on every 2 weeks like the dr said, but a ex boyf of mine that i still talk to says there is prescription pills i could take for both my warts and atheletes problem. My dr as never suggested or prescribed me to any kind of pills for these conditions.....so is my ex boyf right???....the freeze off stuff doesn't seem to be working like it should! im thinking about asking my dr for a pill prescription to help get rid of the warts if there is such pill that does so!

I had asthma since I was born 10 years ago, the last REALLY bad SEVEER asthma attack I had was when I was around 7 or 8. My parents died a few weeks ago and since then my asthma just keeps getting worst and worst, it's starting to feel as bad as it did when I was 7 or 8. I lost my inhaler and there's absolutely no way to the hospital, what should I do. How long does asthma last, does it ever just go away cause it got my sisters and brother real scared and now i'm kind of scared to, I don't know what's gonna happen. Could you please tell if Asthma ever goes away!
