No-one can answer this for you. His Doctor can only guess. My mother's cancer was supposed to kill her 2 months after her diagnosis. She lived 3 years.

If the doctor tells him it is time to stop the treatment, that is a pretty good indication that you are down to a matter of weeks.

God Bless, this is hard.

I'm very sorry to hear that. But all is not lost. 2 of my 3 family members that were afflicted with cancer survived, one of them had kidney cancer. Dont look at it as how long because many have the strength to fight back. If things get worse, feel free to contact me. A month ago, my mother succumbed to cancer so I know how it all feels. Peace, god bless.

He could have months or years. It is all up to God or his higher power.
Pain control will become an issue sooner than later if it has not already popped up. Make sure, no matter what, your husbands doctor is prescribing pain medications which take away the pain. Dont let him suffer. See a pain specialist and get it under control because his comfort is really important now.

I couldn't just sit around and do nothing like my doctors suggested.

They didn't want me to do anything or to take herbs or herbal remedies, but I had to try something - they just wanted me to do dialysis!

This program allowed me to take control of my health. I went from Stage 4 to Stage 3 kidney disease.

It was easy to do and my BUN, creatinine and anemia are all in better ranges.

As everyone else is saying, its up to God.
If you stay postive, surround yourself with postive people, let the negative go.
I know you will both have your bad days, where things dont' look good. But please, just keep the Faith, and stay postive.
I have survived 2 x with cancer, and doing fine now.
Just enjoy being together, and take care of eachother.........
