It made me so crazy! It gave me amnesia and I would find out later some of the wacky things I would do, including XXX phone calls. I would also hallucinate really bad. I saw gnomes often and one time I laid in my bed while I was being guarded by ancient egyptian nubian warriors. Crazy stuff...

I just started talking Ambien 3 nights ago. I was on Restoril but felt no affect with it. The first night on Ambien was wonderful--slept 9 hours and woke up feeling great! On the second night I had a severe panic attack after falling asleep for about an hour. Last night I woke up after falling out of my bed because I was trying to beat "someone" up. I have scratches on my face and arms. I don't think I will take it tonight...I would rather deal with my insomnia than endure the weird side effects.

A lot of the patients I know have trouble with ambien.. They say that they fall asleep and then wake up an hour later. I guess that's why they've come out with a controlled release tab now. I also know that it causes some people to have very bad nightmares or even night terrors.

you have no clue how undesirable ambien is. Many docs refuse to prescribe it because of the fact it is so harsh on the concepts. human beings take it and awaken interior the gutter, the ER, or in detention center devoid of memory of ways they have been given there. Ambien is a foul drug - do no longer play with it, that's powerful, rather addictive, and extremely risky.

Yes. First of all, it is short acting, so I wake up after 4-5 hours. Secondly, when I quit taking it I went through some horrible nights when I couldn't sleep at all. Thirdly, it is very expensive. Fourthly, it is not intended to be taken long term.

I used to. They gave it to me in the hospital to help me sleep.. Only when I took it I hallucinated so hard. I talked the doctor into a prescription for it and used to watch jellyfish come out of my windows.. some trippy sh*t
