My mother is 78 yrs old and a diabetic. For over 4 years she has been in and out of the hospital and getting blood transfusion due to her hemoglobin constantly dropping and it seems that the doctors have done all kinds of scopes (upper and lower gi's) etc.. to try and find out where the bleeding is coming from with no luck. At one time it actually dropped down to 7. She is currently taking a shot that cost around $2000 each time to try to keep her blood count up so that she will not have to get so many transfusion but that hasnt' been to successfull either. The doctors cannot find anything wrong with her and are at the point where they feel she needs to go to Mayo Clinic and also get a 2nd opinion. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this before? Any information would be appreciated.

Has anyone had experience with this? Know anything that could help it? Also does this mean she is alot more likely to be severely allergic to other things? Such as bees?Can an allergist help the symptoms she gets and find out if she is allergic to other things and how badly?

Ok here goes.... had sex with this girl, I think I was a little too rough cuz the condome broke, about 3 weeks later had some bumps on my wang, went to a doc 4 days after notice bumps , got tested, came back that they jacked the test up, then another funky lookin thing on the side grew in, (dident look like a blister or a pimple, just red and raised, that went away, then another little pimple popped up and went away. went back 17 days later from inital testing and got another one done, got tested for everything, HSV1/2 IgG negative (negative) and seperate HSV 2 IgG (negative).... so I still think it might be something... so last week went back and I got sent away!.... wheat the hell am I ganna do Im a nervous wreck!... i dont wanna spread anything if I got it!?

would oral herpes leave open sores on your lips???... or could it be just like a resh that iches???... cuz sometimes my lips are ichy and im a little worried, because that can be 100% accurate test unless a culture is done...

For almost a week now ive been getting these weird looking bumps that looks like mosquito bites..it started on my legs and then it started on my arms...when i start to strach myself a whole section of my arm/leg will be covered in bumps and it will go away within an hourand i wont even get it for a full day it comes back whenever it wants i guess and as far as i know im not allergic to anything anybody know what this could be??????

i am allergic to dust.now my nose has started blocking.i have to use octrivin nose drops.i am dependent on it.after using it situation is getting worst.some say that these drops r harmful.

I just had a little blood discharge It just happen tonight but it was just a little bit. would this be normal? I haven't has sex for like 2 months and a half (which the last time I had sex was on May)....I when to a place called Halifax Behavioral Services at During the end of March and April. and they took a blood sample and urine test on me, and if they told me I had any STDs, they would tell me, but since I didn't I might not have it at all. even when I got out of Halifax, I had sex with the same partner and He doesn't have any STDs in his family history. And when I broke up with him, I had sex with another Guy , but he used a condom the whole time and we didn't even had oral.

this was my first time for having a discharge of a little of blood and I might of had scrach it , But I hope the blood discharge is normal..........

hey, I have sex on a regular, and 2 hours ago I felt as if i had to use the bathroom a tremendous amout. I went to use the bathroom and noticed a light pink spotting. After about 10 more minutes i felt as if i had to use the bathroom again, although I urined very little i still had light pink spotting. I came on to the computer to search what it could be and got worried and tried to urine a little more to see if i was still light pink spotting and indeed i was. This spotting is only when I urine and just started about 2 hours ago. I dont know what it is, and i hope i am not pregnant. What are the possibilities that this can be?

I have been mrsa positive since late last november. And I am now at my wits end. I have been given a sulfa antibiotic which i am allergic to I have spent 10 days hospitalized in isolation on vancomyacin I have been using bactroban ointment. After showering I used chloreseptic wash on my entire body. I have had 4 suregeries in total because my absesses have been so large. I have lost time at work due to pain and having home care nurses in. The doctors in my area seem to be uneducated cause no one wants to do anything to help me here. And I am still testing positive after all this. I also found out that it was my wonderful hometown hospital that caused me to have this staph "super bug" infect my body when I had a simple day surgery done a year ago.

Can anyone help me? I am only 28 healthy in good shape a loving mother and wife I can't live like this anymore

I had a call from my Dr saying i may have diabetes, after a blood test in the week.
How come i may or may not? It was a 14 hour fasting blood test, and i had a big glass of coke just before my fasting. Could it be becouse it wasnt out of my system??? How long do things take to clear your system??
